  1. JIMMY G BUCKETS………..the g stands for gets, GETS BUCKETS!. I've always supported Butler with ud or even without us as long as he isn't playing against us, TOTAL FUCKING ANIMAL, wish we had superstar talents like this that could perform in the playoffs.

  2. last time zach wasn't the main trade taget from that jimmy trade y people acting stupid if anything zach saved that trade from being so bad cuz where is Kris Dunn and the 7th pick(Lauri Markkanen just be happy for jimmy

  3. I’d rather take the last 6 years of butler over 1 playoff win & appearances

  4. You forgot to mention that Sixers regret that move trading away butler and gave thobais the max over butler

  5. I’m always happy for Jimmy. Amazing player with the attitude to show for it. Just wish we never traded him

  6. Also when rondo went down butler had no one. Wade only avg 15ppg on bad% and felico at center, surpised he even got 2 games

  7. Dumbest trade the bulls ever made. You accommodate players that are at that level. He’s mj’s son.

  8. Ever since his departure from Bulls I have still rooted for him and the teams he’s been apart of!

I was stoked after watching this game ⭐️ he is a bull forever imo 🔥

  9. if coby leave the same stupid bulls fans are gonna cry about not resigning him when they wanted him gone at the start of this season this fanbase sticks to narratives

  10. As a Bulls fan, I'm happy for Buckets but I don't miss him. He had his shot here as the alpha.

I'm happy for him in the sense that his backstory is wholesome and inspiring, and he's overall a good dude. And watching him develop as an unconfident rookie under Thibs and progressively getting better was nice to watch.

But as a Bulls fan I still have bad taste in my mouth from that 2016-2017 season with Wade and Rondo, going 42-40 for the season, making the playoffs as an 8th seed, winning the first two games against 1 seed Boston, then dropping 4 games in a row. Buckets performance in that series was pretty abysmal, and allowing him to move on after that was totally acceptable.

Would things be different here now, had he stayed or whatever? Doubt it.
But glad he's in a good spot right now and learning to lead when it matters.

  11. I love Paxson for his time as a player, but he was a dumb a$$ GM that set us back on multiple instances. Trading Jimmy was the final straw for me. I knew it was bad then, and it has looked worse over the last several years

  12. The Headquarters of the Chicago Bulls might be glad to fired players like Pippen, Rodman, Elton Brand and Jimmy Butler. With that people making trades and picks we are 25 years without a ring

  13. Nah, I never liked him and I'm glad he's gone. Whatever he does makes no difference to me. Good for him having a great game, but I don't care for him and never have.

  14. I completely agree with your thoughts but I want add something else. I know it's been said that the Bulls management and ownership are not the best at developing and supporting players, but what about the fan culture surrounding the team? To some degree we are bad fans expecting every player that passes through Chicago to be the one that can take us back to the "Glorious 90's". As fans, in general, we should forget about the past. Yes those were great but there are very few people that will live in this World that can possibly emulate the success Jordan and the Bulls had in the 90's. No young player has the mental capacity to absorb all the hopes and dreams, the daily pressure, the very thin success/failure line that Bulls have.

  15. Great takes and this video kinda felt like a smooth jab at ownership for dropping the ball for years now. Ownership clearly has a huge part in this piece. Not gonna lie, I'm glad to see Butler shining like many of us fans knew he could do.

  16. The point of this video is that the Bulls suck at developing and retaining quality players. That is true and it f'n sucks.

  17. All of these players we drafted ballin out on different teams smh. It’s becoming very hard supporting this Franchise.

  18. You are projecting on this one, because I haven't heard anyone of us actual bulls fans not wanting Jimmy to succeed,so I guess you need the clicks though and I don't blame you, get your money..

  19. Jimmy never took over a playoff game like that as a Bull. But yeah, in hindsight, trading him was stupid. They should have built around him

  20. Happy for Butler. One of the very few NBA players today with old school work ethics and the will to grind to the last. Literally put the team on his back. Didn't understand why the Bulls didn't wanna pay him to stay but then again Bulls ownership are cheapskates.

  21. Yeah people Forget that it took MJ one of the greatest players of all time, 6 f years to get this F lazy organization to start winning championships. And he had to almost go insane to make it happen… and sad part is They still only have 6 titles lol.. and most likely won't get anymore because they have a shit mentality.
90% of us Bulls fans, are only fans because what MJ made this team to be, and most of us fell in love with this team thanks to MJ, Pippen and Co.

  22. Logical take, but eff that. I didn't like it the night I heard about it (clocked out of work and went straight home when coworkers got the text) and haven't liked it since. I hardly consider my take salt or FOMO if I stood firm on it from day one. Lauri I understood his situation and while sure I would like to have him still (he was our big ass shotgun afterall), but he was mentally checking out and the FO did what they felt was right. Moving on from Jimmy was wrong, and every stop he made and left immediately got worse. He has proven for a few seasons now he was absolutely capable of being the 1A on a playoff squad and bum ass GarPax moved him and stuck us in the mud. Watching the game last night was part happy for Jimmy and part pissed we let him go.

He looked good in Minny, he had the nucleus of a dynasty in Philly, and his 2020 bubble run is fresh in my memory. He makes a HOF case and we HAD him. I'm never going to take a high-road position on what was stupid then and is stupid now. Maybe we get him to the promised land, maybe we don't, but without him we just never know.

  23. Lauri would have been fine in Chicago, he did not stay cause they would not make him the focal point. Just think of what Lauri could have done in the 4 spot and how good Pat would have developed off the bench or how much more we could have seen Vooch in the paint…. would have been great

  24. Huge fan brother, but with regards to your tweets related to jimmy. He loved that city, he still trains in CHI in the offseason etc. in another world he would still be a Bull if it were up to him.
