  2. ahend1999

  3. wonderfulworldofwill

    Average r/nba user:
Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I’m so distressed right now I don’t know what to do. I didn’t mean to do that to my mom but I’m literally in shock from the results tonight. I feel like I’m going to explode. Why the fucking fuck is he losing? This can’t be happening. I’m having a fucking breakdown. I don’t want to believe the world is so corrupt. I want a future to believe in. I want Trae young to be the most overrated player and get my upvotes. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn’t supposed to be like this, I thought he was the most overrated player???? This is so fucked.

  4. TraeOlder

Trae a fucking different breed man. My fucking star I don’t want anyone else

  5. Phenton123

John Collins really embodying the under .500 hawks coming out big today

  6. RyanKing31

It’s crazy that Boston only has two games left in their season.

  7. peeinherbut

I just bought tix to game 6, cawwwwwww

  8. Friendly_Spirit3790

the absolute balls on Trae to launch that with the SEASON on the line, only down by 1, and the Celtics in the penalty

its the dumbest and greatest shot of his career

  9. Bombs_Go_B00M

But I don’t understand, 8 random unnamed nba players said Trae young was the most overrated player in the league how could this happen to precious Boston

  10. IslandHawksFan

Another year, another Trae Young round 1 game winner. We were a game below .500!

  11. Brinkybon

I’m not saying Bogi is a better player than Dejounte, but if we’re going to start a skinny, not that great defensive guard at SG, maybe at least for this series, it should be the one that complements Trae more effectively…

  12. Armond404

Does anyone have any experience reserving spots in Delta Sky360 or Chase Club lounges? I spent an hour trying to figure out online.

  13. TheItalianStallion44

JC going on his mini-run of 7 midway thru the 4th saved us, gave Trae the rest he needed without going to the bench, carried us until Trae was ready in clutch time

  14. Would love to know what Quinn said in the TO. Hopefully it was just Trae go do your thing

  15. rickrollin

On the FTY chants, Trae said “it’s a sign of respect because they’re not doing that for everybody.”

    What a guy!

  16. kamonrye

I’m so proud of JC and Trae. Regardless how this turns out. That was a vintage Trae and John performance. It’s been a while since we’ve seen that.

  17. I’m old enough to remember you niggas sayin Trade Trae 😹😹

  18. PykeTheTitan

Only thing that would have made this better would have been a Mike Breen BANG! Big commentator L

  24. Sunkettle

As a GSW/Sixers fan I have to thank you guys and Trae Young. Bless his heart

  25. BrotherSkeleton

Can you eliminate them and meet us in the ECF (Knicks fan here)?

  26. AwesomePig919

John Collins needed a good game. Hopefully that put’s him back on track for the rest of the series

  27. WHAT. A. GAME. Your Hawks win 119-117 with a Trae Young masterclass pushing the Celtics to a game 6.

Like I said. Trae was him. Trae immediately drained a three to start the game. The next possession he got a floater off a Clint PNR. Trae went off the dribble spinning in the opposite direction then hitting a fading shot. He hit another floater a couple of possessions later. Trae played the whole first quarter and ended with 9 points and 4 rebounds. There were a couple of non-calls on his drives. Trae had a nice defensive possession sitting in the chair against Jalen Brown which led to a steal and John Collins bad layup attempt. With under three in the second, he hit two floaters. He had a bad sequence attempting a logo three then taking a foul because the long rebound led to a fast break. With under a minute he got swatted by Horford but luckily he drew an offensive foul when he got hit in the face from a rebound. He made use of the extra possession and got a step back 20 footer to go. Trae ended the half with 15 points, and 6 assists on 7/15 shooting in 20 minutes. He basically was forcing the issue as expected trying to will the team to victory. He started the third with a three. With under 4, he hit a stepback three over Houser. He got blocked on the next possession. With around 9 he had a nice pass fake on a drive allowing him an open lane to the rim. With around 5, he drew two and made a tricky bounce to OO for a dunk. With around three hit a big three to cut the lead to three. He managed to get a steal and then made another big three to tie the game. With under 2, he finally got his first foul call which led to a Tatum technical foul. With the last possession with 7 seconds left, he had the audacity to pull up for a logo three which got an audible “NO!” out of me but Trae proved me wrong and buried the shot to put the Hawks up two. Trae played 44 minutes and had 38 points, 4 rebounds, 13 assists, and 2 steals on 14/33 shots. He hit 5/13 threes all of those were made in the 4th quarter where he scored 16 total points! He only had 4 turnovers which are perfectly fine. He got no assistance from the refs the whole game when he was consistently driving to the rim and only shot 5 free throws when he could have shot 13 tonight. Defensively he had multiple possessions of good effort. Trae was called overrated, a bad playoff performer, can’t build a winning team around him but he has had three 30-point games in a row and is averaging well over 10 assists. I have no choice but to give Trae an A+ for his performance tonight.

Bogi started off with a lob to Capela with under 9 in the first quarter. Through some nice off-ball movement he was able to get open for a three to start the second. With under 10 he drew a foul on a three-point attempt and made all three. He ended the half with 6 points and 2 assists on ½ shooting. With under 6 in the third, he came around a screen and drilled a three. He hit a high-arching midrange to start the fourth. With under 8, he had a nice Sequence hitting a putback off a Bey miss and a long three on the next possession. Bogi’s shot-making was excellent and he ended the game with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks on an efficient 6/9 shooting and 3/6 from three. Defensively he was very active and made some timely plays. He was solid as a passer and threw some good looks in the PNR. A for Bogi

John Collins was good offensively. JC got his first points off a tip-in with under 8 in the first. With under 5, he hit a three-pointer. He made his second three with around 6 left in the second. With under 2, JC was able to hit a shot off a post up taking two attempts to get a shot to go down. JC ended the half with 10 points and 1 rebound on 4/9 shooting. I still don’t think he played that well at this point. I don’t know. He just looked a little lost out there and was lacking confidence. 1 rebound is bad in 15 minutes. That said he looked a lot more confident in the second half going 5/9 and ¾ in the fourth. To start the third he got scored on by Tatum followed by a bad offensive foul trying to get open for a post-up. He topped it off with a bricked three on the next possession. A couple of possessions after he took it in the baseline on Horford for a no-call. He finally broke the ice with around 8 making a three. With around 6 he intercepted a pass and converted a lob on the fast break. With under 6 in the fourth, he made a corner three. After he hit a cutting layup. With under 4, he hit a turnaround layup. He had a bad defensive possession with around 30 seconds allowing Williams an easy dunk after a jump ball. John ended with 22 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist on 9/18 shooting, and 4/9 from three. JC exceeded my expectations from the three-point line. Whenever he shot it I thought it was going to brick but he made timely shots. Defensively I thought he was ok. Rebounding which is a part of the defense was low for JC. I think there was a bad sequence where he allowed Blake Griffin to easily grab one over him. That said overall it was his best game of the series by far and he gave us what we needed offensively to win. I’m happy to see him succeed! B for JC.

With under 8 in the first, Brown was able to get by Dre for an open dunk with ease. A little after he hit an open three. With under 5 in the second he was able to step into a mid-range shot. Dre was back to his old ways by half with 5 points and 3 rebounds on 2/6 shooting. The defense wasn’t great he got blown by multiple times. That said he tightened up in the 2nd half and went 3/6. With around 5 Hunter hit a timely three to cut the lead to 8. With under three he got Tatum to bite on a fake and was able to get to the middle for a shot. To start the fourth he hit an open three followed by a bad foul on a cutting Jalen Brown. I’m pretty sure he had a timely steal in the 4th on Tatum. I’m not sure if it was ruled off. Either way, he ended with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, and 0 blocks on 5/11 shooting including ⅗ from three in 42 minutes. It was an ok game. He hit the open threes which was very needed. Tatum had his most inefficient game but I don’t think it was all Hunter’s defense but more him having an off night. I’ll give him a cool C+.

Clint was kind of mid, ending with 4 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block in 21 minutes. Clint was able to get a bucket off a bad lob attempt from Bogi. He caught it before it went out of bounds, took a step in, and put it up. I thought he got outplayed once again by Horford and Williams. OO plagued more than him because of his defensive versatility. Clint doesn’t do well if a team’s whole starting 5 can shoot. C for CC

Jalen ended with 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists on ⅕ fg. Jalen knocked down a three with under 4 in the first. OO was able to find him for the shot after recovering a near turnover. The whole half he had trouble with whoever he was guarding on the perimeter. Whether it be the wings or guards. I think it’s trouble with guarding the first step. To start the fourth he connected with OO on a lob. This was probably his worst game of the series. Otherwise, he’s been pretty good. C-

  28. childishgames

The celtics sub is the greatest place on earth. They don’t even realize that they are still in a series right now, all they’ve been talking about is the Heat and the 76ers lmao
