Don't mean a thing without roster moves.
Next chip will probably be in 2043 since thats how long it take the raptors to build a new bench, find a superstar player who chokes in the playoffs, trade him for a disgruntled superstar on a 1 year deal, and win the chip.
udoka was successful in boston because he had a great team. some roster changes are needed.
Next will be FVV and GTJr, and Thad gone. JP stays and they better find someone to run a half court offence, someone to shoot 3's…. probably afford Coby White and Alexander-Walker, maybe Isaac Okoro or Thybulle can be had for a reasonable contract? And Cason Wallace with the draft. Looking forward to some big changes.
It was the right move still tbh since nick nurse wanted out tho and as we all know that he did what he had to do for us by winning a championship for our squad still so it is what it is tho so it's totally not fair for nurse to be continue wit this frustration and stuff wit his team let tha man be ya know. I think coach Nurse did a great job for the Raptors., bringing them a NBA championship, which is no easy task. I hope people really give him his respect. I thought the raptors over all regrets this year. They didn't attack the rim this year they played a very boring game that lacked movement. …

If Pascal is your best player and Fred is your PG, it's barely making it into the playoffs and losing in the first round as YOUR BEST SCENERIO. Neither of those guys are superstar material, you can add OG onto the list as well. The reason why Toronto won a championship is they had a superstar in Lawhi and surrounded him with quality all-stars. Now they just have all-stars trying to do what superstars do and failing miserably. Toronto can't get a superstar to come here on their own free will. Toronto isn't a sunny place and it's not New York or L.A. where endorsement deals are long and plenty. So it has to be through the draft, which means they need to stink and not be medicore. If Toronto 'tanks' the next couple of seasons, they might find a superstar in the draft…or keep 'tanking' til they draft one. Toronto had it good for two decades it feels like. Making the playoffs year after year but now, they have to taste the otherside of success.
I felt sad udoka is a good coach for the the raptors I'm okay with that let's hope they have him
nothing will change. they don't have the presence and power on the floor from even one player to really make a difference.
Bummed. Nick Nurse is the best coach in the NBA imho.

Nick was terrible at player development, I'm glad he was fired but I am also grateful for his role in the Championship. Next move is Fred, I think his selfish ego is too big for this team's success, he can get his bag with someone else. Make no mistake the future of this team is Scottie Barnes and O.G. and some of the other youngsters. It's time to turn the page.
Let that damn man live and move on with his life as a damn good coach. There's no need to keep speaking on his personal affairs cause it ain't our damn business. He can and should coach.

Seriously, you didn't expect it ? Three weeks ago, Nick went on local media and said he didn;t want to coach his last year here. Seems to me he was asking to be fired.He saw the team was going no where. Nicjk will collect his ssalary for 2024, then take a good coaching offer.
If we can't get Ime Udoko we should probably look at Mark Jackson.
