I asked Russell Westbrook when he felt the weight lift off his shoulders and the peace of mind playing basketball kick in. “Once I got traded. Immediately, to be honest. From that moment, honestly, mentally, I was in a better place.”

Told y’all. It’s all mental with him. He was free here.

Russ was a breath of fresh air to an otherwise really frustrating season. He brought a lot of positive energy. I can’t understand how people would label him as a vampire or as a bad teammate. He seems like he brings it every night and i respect that about him. Thank you Brodie.

As an life long Lakers fan I’m glad y’all treated Russ like he been there for years he deserves to be happy I hope y’all resign him and run it back the full year, lakers are trash for what they and LeBron tried to do to him

He wasn’t very good in LA because his skilset was redundant and diametrically opposed to the players around him.

Most fans loved his effort but hated his decision making given the people on the floor around him.

Everyone is in a better place now both teams, both fan bases.
