Trae Young misses that step back 3, from 28 feet, 80% of the time. Making him take a low percentage shot, going to his left, is good defense.

Celts are so used to flop that in Tatum's first shot – a corner 3 – he flopped so hard that it looked like a cartoon… and then looked absolutely surprised he did not get the call.

Well all series long I’ve been questioning what my hawks are doing defending the perimeter. They keep letting shooters come off screens and get wide open contested 3’s because nobody steps up and shows. This has been happening all series. It’s not that hard to get someone to step up and at least contest the 3.
It was bad defense because Trae is already hot with 11 straight points and consecutive 3's. The Celtics could live with that shot if Trae wasn't shooting great or have not scored any prior to that. Also Hawks should not trade Trae. Coach Snider just got in half of the season let him work on that team first.
And Jason Williams to blame Brown for backpedaling. Trae is the best lob thrower in the league. So if he beats Jalen off the dribble then he beats you with the floater or the lob. They only needed one point. So would you rather give up a logo 3 or a lob/floater. Trae has been super inconsistent with the 3 so I’d take my chances with him beating me with a logo 3.

Jalen Brown played good d by keeping him in front of him. Which is what he is suppose to do. Of missed a lot of 3’s and that was a far shot to make. You have to live with the chances of him hitting that. If you let trae get by he can draw a foul which is hardly misses free throws. He has been shooting bad from 3 point all series. They played the odds. 💯
