  1. fuck JJ, i loved him in college but he felt like he always came up short in the nba. at least he’s still being a duke-worthy villain.

  2. RyujiDrill

Playing both sides. Nice job ESPN. Trash network.

  3. ChaosAndCreation

If only he could defend during his playing career, we might already have a chip.

  4. LilTurnippman

JJ has always been a stand up guy. There’s a reason why I watch his podcast and appreciate what he says.

The ONLY analyst who does his best to be unbiased most of the time and its very clear. He also played with/against a lot of the guys they talk about and he has first hand experience. Cant stand the narratives that SAS comes up with

  6. “neither of you have played high level basketball” I don’t even think they were good at their local YMCA let alone high level ball

Can’t believe fans questioned Kawhi in the first place. Someone said he simply “put more effort” when he was in Toronto. Like if Kawhi could be playing he absolutely would. The fact this turned in to a debate is absurd.

It’s honestly pathetic that even within this sub so many supposed Clippers “fans” are slandering Kawhi as well. I get people being frustrated and even angry, but people calling him out as if it’s somehow his fault is irrational.

First, good on JJ for countering the narrative. As a fan, yea I’m frustrated but injuries happen and some guys are more prone than others.

I was listening to his podcast yesterday and he made an interesting comment. He was talking about being on NBA Today or another ESPN show and referred to it as an “opinion” show which they are. They’re are not factual, analysis shows. They’re the sports version of Cable news at night.

Can we even call Stephen A a sports journalist? He comes off like an angry sports nerd that just offers criticisms against everyone.

ESPN sucks ever since it tried to copy the CNN/FOX News format of people yelling at each other and pretending that it’s news.

  11. Mygaffer

Why do y’all give this shit the time of day?

It’s a drama act but they pretend it’s sports analysis.

Don’t pay attention to or share ESPN trash talking head content.

It’s wild cause you can’t talk finance without finance experience.

You can’t talk tech without tech experience.

But any fuckjockey can look at a sport and just assume they know better than the athletes.

We used to have this drill we’d do that basically looks like two dudes hugging. Looks incredibly fucking easy. Thing is, after 30 years of Thai clinching, it’s only “easy” because there’s so much shit going on that the laymen can’t fucking understand. So people get cocky, they ask to go, they get their head pulled down for 3 minutes of hell and then can’t look down for the next week without their head literally slamming down because their neck has zero strength to support it.

That’s how I look at these guys. I know a lot of shit about athletics, but there’s so much about basketball at this level that I am unconsciously incompetent about, so…let the pros be the fucking pros.

Quit acting like everything is somebody being lazy or soft. I’ve never heard anybody who wasn’t a soft bitch call people soft for injuries anyway.

And, saying this as somebody who was absolutely frustrated and annoyed with this situation, this isn’t our fucking life.

    These aren’t our bodies.

As much as I admired Dirk, as much as I love AI for leaving it on the line, fuck that shit. I as a fan want them to go out there and give it everything, but they as humans probably want to be able to walk in 20 years or go for a brisk jog without needed a vicodin.

    Once again, JJ is right.

  13. DeMarcus_Nephews

Just came here to say Molly looks great in that dress

  14. Payutenyodagimas

    Kawhi should retire

Unfair to the owner, team mates, and fans

Its hard to justify $44M/year w/o benefits
