Minnesota sports curse continues

I don’t think the Vikings or Wild deserve to be on this for 2023 so far

2020: Loons lose to Seattle 2-3 in the WCF after being up 2-0 thru the 74’ (16 minutes left to play).

  2. Jimmy forcing his way out after 1 season is crazy to think about. He’s the opposite of a quitter now

Didn’t the 2009 Saints game also have that egregious PI call because two players fell at the same time but the defender (Greenway maybe?) never actually touched him.

    Wesley Johnson…. I remember him….. Tragic…. The Johnny Flynn one hurts the most…. Yikes….

Should put a note in 98-99 when the damn Stars win the Stanley Cup for Dallas after leaving here.

    When we taste victory boys
    It’ll be oh so sweet
I’m acting a fool for idk how long

You should add the Gobert trade on there, it’s basically the worst self-curse of all time

No Vikings for going 13-3 and losing wild card weekend?

  9. Can you amend the 2023 Wolves entry to include Ant being cited for assault based on throwing chair in anger over loss as he leaves the court? (I mean, you can’t make it up. Only the Wolves, man.)

The 2023 Vikings definitely deserve to be on this. Win 11 one score games and lose by one score to a wild card team because Kirk Cousins throws a check down on 4th and 8 to lose the game.

Can we add -Kyle Anderson lost to eye contusion caused by Anthony Edwards.

This play felt super cursed as well considering how short handed we already were.

I like how this is mostly factual until the 2023 wolves then it’s just your opinion.

After playing the majority of the season without one of the stars the team was built around, the 8 seed lost to the 1 seed. That’s not a curse. That’s the natural result of a bad regular season.

We love Jaden but he’s not the best defender on the team. Ant and Rudy were both better this year per Basketball Reference. Gobert had a down year by his standards and was still one of the best defenders in the league and led the 2022-23 Timberwolves in Win Shares.

Compared to the entire league he was 2nd in dunks, 4th in rebounds, and 3rd in FG%.

2023: need to add the gophers OT loss in the frozen four after being up 2-1 with 3 minutes left…OOF.
