Saw this quote and thought of the Celtics too lol. I think at the least they were thinking about the Sixers series towards the end of game 5

I feel like people are disrespecting the Hawks in general
Everyone giving tons of Miami praise (rightfully so), but the Hawks are a pushover even though Atlanta SMACKED Miami at their crib

I think this insinuates he was probably healthy enough to play game 3 but they sat him assuming they were in good shape.

The biggest problem for the Celtics is now Atlanta believes they can win the series. I don’t care if you’re the better team. It’s the NBA. The talent gap just isn’t that big. If you have a team that has belief and a couple of guys who’ve been All-stars before, then you have issues. They aren’t playing the mediocre regular season Atlanta Hawks tonight. They are playing a team that has all the momentum and belief in the world. The Celtics will need a championship effort to win this game.
Hopefully this team uses this as a fucking wake up call and get their shit together
