Good luck to Derrian. He’s a really good player, hope he catches on with a Power 5 school who will give him a chance.
Not down with running off in state kids. He was willing to stay and warm the bench one more season and coach tells you your not even good enough to be a practice player.

Bro! hate to see him go, I was hearing this but I think it's true that college players like Ford need to go to group of 5 conference, you will get the better college experience, this portal NIL madness will make the group of 5 better.
I’m afraid we will go the route of not signing freshmen and using only the portal to find players with experience, but if it brings final four basketball to Arkansas, bring it on.

I hate it: Kids like Devo, who had wanted to be a Razorback since Jr. High are flat out of luck. The college game has turned into an AAU/prep. League for the development of super-talented players. These new transports probably don’t know where Fayetteville, Ark. is let alone what a hog call is! O well, they will get us to the Final 4. Best team money can buy!
There is something to be said about the experience Devo brought in his three seasons. A floor coach and a leader is important. I just hope this does not create problems in the end. I think a dude who works his way through the system and plays later is important. I hope Pinion stays. If his Defense gets a little better, then he will be great.
I hate it. Was a baller who never got a chance. Unfortunately when you are chasing 5 stars, some 4 stars will get left behind. Shocked if Pinion stays. a 6'5" guard who hits 3's would be welcomed at a lot of P5 programs.
They said they was staying before Muss went and got 5 guards.
Would this create a problem with in state recruits they ain’t gonna wana stay home cause they know muss going get players from the portal

When you rely on the TP your team becomes the TP.
Pinion knows if he wants to make a professional roster one day Musselman is his best chance. He HAS TO GET BETTER ON DEFENSE or he'l be just like he was this past season. That being said, WE NEED A BIG MAN!

Selfishly, as a Magnolia native, I'm sad to see him go but I knew it was inevitable. Hope the kid lands in a good spot and is a star there.

Pinion played double the minutes of Ford and Dunning, so I would be much more surprised if he was urged out.
