Mavs will not trade Luka unless he demands it. The jazz just got rid of their super stars and it wasn’t to pickup unrealistic expectations which is what teams get with luka and trades like this…..the jazz will take their time and build through the draft and free agency and maybe some sign and trades.
Suspect Clarkson is gone. Some think tht is gone but I have my doubts with him opting out. What may happen with tht is he gets more years but can’t see him getting paid the big big bucks like Clarkson.

He has earned it. The jazz will be conservative which will put a little pressure on Clarkson. The jazz are a better fit for him but we may see a different of 10mm over four years. Likely gone as most take the money.
The jazz will have lots of cap space and picks and aren’t pushing for a window 🪟 right now. The build out is more like 3-5 years. If jazz gets lucky with the lottery then they will move the window closer to 3 years. The jazz will be just good enough to make play offs. Not a bad rebuild.
Would doncic change the window of opportunity? Not really!
It’s why most talk about it to try and make a fit but there just isn’t one. Doesn’t mean doncic won’t be valued. His best place really is with the mavs.
