If you equate a rebound to a basket 22 rebounds is like scoring 44 points. Epic. Against the regular season rebound leader. Looney may be the league's best rebounder. Absolutely an essential piece to the warriors being a championship team.

Great insight on the analytics. I think they are a valuable tool but need to be balanced appropriately. Analytics don't favor playing the young guys early in the season which would have paid dividends later. Sometimes the numbers don't favor the big picture.
Denver will be tough if they make it. Denver is way better than last year and that altitude is real and they have home.court.
Analytics are hard because a unit might be playing well on the stats because they always are up against the bench unit or something. Some units are good in a small sample but if you start running that out 20 minutes a night it will fail.
Steph has never been just a shooter. Always been an all around player. If he was just a shooter his play style would be JJ Redrick, Kyle korver, Richard Hamilton and Reggie Miller

For all the criticism against Kerr and what the Warriors record was during the regular season. You just need to take a look at the Bucks being #1 in the East and getting rewarded an early vacation for all their hard work.
The shuffling during the regular season was to determine who was going to get regular minutes in the playoffs. Which is paying off right now.

2 sides to every coin. You got to play the players that work well with the core. It was also frustrating for the vets when young guys were in and not doing what they were supposed to do. Coach tried to manage both priorities – win now/develop players.
This team got the 6 seed with Curry/Klay/Wiggs/Draymond missing almost a combined 100 games. Give that man credit.
Dude, your take on analytics was not good. The lineups we are playing now are the most analytic friendly lineups, so the idea that we have gone away from using them in the playoffs is completely unfounded. Also, this isn’t news, Kerr has openly spoken about this in interviews. You said that the 5 man net rating is most important, or you pay the most attention to that, but Kerr has said he pays a lot of attention to the 2-man net ratings. This is why you saw a lot of Kerr and Lamb lineups throughout the season, according to Kerr. It’s hard to put a value on the statistics we’ve gathered throughout the season by playing with so many different lineups, and how this comes into play in our decision making in the playoffs.
And analytics goes much deeper than just net rating. You don’t know which ones he’s using behind the scenes, stats on plays, actions, matchups, tempo, etc are available, and I’m sure he’s deploying this information where the stats are most glaring for/against us.
Criticizing our hall of fame coach for using analytics with such a cursory understanding of them doesn’t sit well with me. I appreciate the show, and I know you need content, but I encourage you to dig deeper on analytics before you take such a stance against our usage of them.
