Are any of Locke’s NBA Numbers Draft Darlings really Darlings? Targets for Jazz at 9, 16 and 28

David Locke has his draft darlings from his numbers break down and Leif Thulin of Locked On NBA Big Board is here to discuss whether any of these are really darlings at all. They give you some good targets for the Utah Jazz at 9, 16 and 28 in the NBA Draft.

Leif Thulin has a player he thinks the Jazz should consider at 9 and he is a point guard.

Some of the topics discussed
* Are Locke’s favorite’s Julian Stawther, Brice Sensabaugh, Kobe Bufkin, Jett Howard and Amari Bailey any good?
* Is Kentucky’s Cason Wallace the best pick and roll guard in the Draft.
* Who is Isaiah Wong and why does he look good on numbers

  1. While the numbers are fun, I think the human factors of drive and intensity are almost more important, and the intangibles that people are not able to see. Guys like John Stockton, Brunson and Fox or even Butler in Florida have it. I think the show might be more interesting if it focused on why these guys have that and people like Dillard, Zion Williamson and Donovan Mitchell do not.

  2. If they end up at 9 I would hope Ainge could find some way to potentially move up a few slots for a big, athletic wing such as Whitmore.

Wallace would be ok but I think he could make THT expendable. Ofc THT might not even be on the roster anyway.

    Pass on Bailey.

  3. I wish David's audio was better. Leif's audio is awesome and clear. David's audio always sounds like it's coming from a tunnel. It's so iritating to listen to these podcasts with the audio issues. Maybe he needs to get closer to the mic?…
