We have to draft this kid if he is available, with either Capela or Collins gone this kid can make an instant impact defensively. Can you imagine if Quin got his hands on a 7’1 center that can play defense? This kid will make a defensive team one day trust me. This kid gives Walker Kessler vibes he moves great and defends nicely. Put this man with Trae and he unlocks his offense skill set.
Only way we should not draft this man is if Cason Wallace is there which he won’t since he is likely to be drafted top 10

I’m with you most of the other fans that are against are literally not paying any attention to the draft anyway so their opinion is irrelevant. Only reason to not draft him is if he’s taken or Jordan Hawkins falls to us.
Can he stretch the floor or is he going to clog the lane so Robert Williams can mug Trae on drives the entire 2nd half?
As a Duke fan, I think this is a recipe for success. He kinda struggled to find a role early in the season but second half he was playing some elite D and absolutely looked ready for NBA minutes

Things I don’t like about him: he doesn’t really solve a need for a team right now, and the only way he would is if we traded Capela away, which would be unnecessarily creating another need. He’s also very unlikely BPA at 15, which will probably be the highest pick we have for many years to come. I think we have to take a swing here, and Lively just doesn’t have that kind of upside.
