Do not talk about Giannis as the best NBA-player because he is far from that. He cannot shoot a jump shot, his free trows are even worse and he has only a few moves. Average player only his athleticism and his height and reach make him a Greek Freak but the guy has no fundamentals. It is joke how many times he walks with the ball.
personally, this is one too many times where Bud's coaching mistakes have been highlighted during one of their playoff exits. I think it's time to move on from him. Middleton being hurt for a long time, that's not good when you're paying him that much. Crowder not playing, idc what he does offensively, it's what he does defensively is what you're missing there.
I know Giannis missing 2 games played a part, but this team was too good defensively to only get one game in this series.

Giannis got hurt and played hurt after he came back
1. Bud's offense is not conducive for the post season. Being smart on offense rather than being aggressive is more conducive to success over the course of a series. With the exception of corner 3 attempts, he doesn't really take advantage of the attention that Giannis gets to get other players involved in the offence. This especially applies to Grayson, he was totally underutilized, that is on the coaching staff.
2. There is no player development. Brook is better this year because he is healthy. But the rest of their core players were not better than last year or they outright regressed, Pat and Bobby included. They are older but are still relatively in their prime. Jimmy Butler is older than Jrue and Khris, so no excuses. I will give Khris a pass this year, but if he is not better next year that's on him and the player development staff.
2. They have to give their young talent a chance to develop. I would have rather seen AJ Green and Sandro on the roster over Miles Leonard and Goran Dragic. I would not have traded Donte for Serge, or Jordan Nwora for Jae Crowder.
aaaah….no Darvin Ham….interesting…..like Doc Rivers without Thibodeau…..best insight Mr. Rose has ever said about anything on any broadcast….that's why they lost, same players, some injuries but sounds like Darvin was the actual coach in crunch time…..Coach Bud on the hot seat now, esp if they get bounced early out the playoffs next year….something to watch!
