Few keys for us to win, main one is Tyrese needs to shoot like 55% from 3 this season. He’s been really bad on both ends vs Boston so far, I’m just praying he can catch fire in probably our biggest / 2nd biggest playoff series in the process.

Harden also needs to put up numbers like he did in the regular season. Worst case scenario would be if Boston switches everything and Harden can’t punish Horford off the dribble (one reason Hawks series was so close, Trae abused them when they dropped or switched).

Our matchup is just ass man, we’re gonna have Harden guard Jaylen Brown for a series because Maxey’s going to get killed. Even if we put harden on horford and PJ on JB, their screen action against Harden’s going to be unstoppable. Boston has shot dogshit in the playoffs before, just hoping for some shooting luck.

They’ve always had the refs on their side, and flop like crazy (mainly smart), always rewarded too. Need Tyrese to earn his fat ass contract upcoming here šŸ™

Tobias has locked tatum… The only reason we got the last win was because we put him on tatum in the 2nd half and tatum was held to like 4 points in the 2nd half. Maxey needs to go off and harden and embiid need to do their thing and harris needs to guard tatum all game. Paul reed is also a much different player now compared to when he played most of those celtics minutes.

Taking one of these road games is key. I mean, statistically, it’s always key to avoid going down 2-0, but I’m thinking our rotation is going to be super short due to not having very many guys who can match up well against the Celtics. The deeper the series goes, the more exhausted guys will be.

Niang is a no-go. Tobi and Maxey are essential, but their past performances against Boston this year make them look a bit untrustworthy, but hopefully, they find a way to course correct. McDaniels, Reed and Melton, probably our best bench trio, have to be unassailable. Reed and McDaniels can’t get into foul trouble, and Melton has to be a sniper from 3, all the while all three of these guys have to try to score as much as possible and play great defense.

If ever we go beyond an 8-man rotation, the 9th or 10th men are a tossup. Niang, Shake or Danuel House. Danuel’s chaotic energy is interesting, but not something to hang your hat on. Shake would have to lock in on defense. If Niang plays heavy minutes (let’s say anything over 15 minutes in this series), I’m nervous as fuck. He showed good discipline and footwork against the Nets, but I don’t know if that will hold up in this series.

Finally, maybe give Springer some run. That mf is tenacious, and in the small minutes I’ve seen him in, he always has the right energy.

PJ needs to hit his corner 3s to

If game 1 comes around and we see Niang come off the bench then we know that Doc is still unserious

Itā€™s not just Maxey. We are going to need a full team effort including the bench players.

No shit. Poor Tobi, PJ, Maxey and Melton are gassed on defense.

This Sixers team is going to have to get real uncomfortable this series in order to get past the C’s.

Embiid is gonna get doubled every possession probably. It really just will come down to whoā€™s role players hit more open shots it feels like
