[Anthony Slater] Malik Monk said he “knew we could run them” with only one day off between games. It’s an even quicker turnaround for Game 7. “I felt it a little more on them. They were a little tired. We’re younger than they are…Gonna try to do the same thing Sunday.”

Happy he said it actually, Steph is watching

  2. lawgirl22

We let Malik Monk become a star in Games 1 and 6. 😒

  3. Hungry-Act8691

He’s right. Def impacted klank and Steph. What about Poole? If he has an avg game we would’ve won

  4. chewybucket

Maybe develop Kuminga and Moody in the regular season for moments like these. Wasted this year for Ty Jerome, Lamb and JMG.

  5. StinkmeanerIV

*What he should be saying is that he knew he could out flop us and he’ll be trying to do the same on Sunday beacuse he gets a better whistle than Steph & Klay.*

  6. Dynasty_30

We going out sad man. Fucking Malik Monk is punking us

  7. An underrated player. Solid and smart. Playing with heart. Austin reaves is another one. Shame to see these kind of players not getting paid. I’m looking at you, JP.

  8. FuzzingBugHunting

Probably Kuminga can teach him a lesson along with Curry and Klay.

  9. Knight_of_Swords

I cant remember another time a player called an entire team old during a playoff series let alone before a game 7. Either Monk is a moron or the Kings know the Warriors are done. I’m betting on the latter.

i knew it was over when barnes got 15 minutes and mike brown played the youngins. they ran us out of the fucking courts

  11. ArtfulLying

True, they just want it more. They’ve played tough every single game. We have not. I almost want to see them move on, cause they just play so fucking hard all the time. Watching Poole stand still on defense as his man just jogs around him is going to kill me.

  12. Ok-Roof-978

Yup. Team looked old today. Lethargic and bad.

And Klay wants a super max …

Come Sunday afternoon , will we be talking about :

    1.) Warriors vs Lakers ?

2.) The end of this era ?
I would guess this team will not stay together if they lose in the fist round. Especially if everyone looks lethargic and slow again on Sunday

  13. Trailboss1982

I hope he continues to talk shit all the way up until game time. That’s what Klay and Steph need for motivation to go in there and send them home on their own court.

On another note I wish that Warriors would have wrapped it up tonight since the Lakers wrapped their series up tonight. Now even if we do beat the Kings on Sunday the Lakers are going to be well rested

  14. Humbledmillion

The answer is KUMINGOD! start draymond and looney…kumingod takes minutes away from jp3 and donte…

  15. Lol this doesn’t make any sense when Poole, a 23 year old, and Donte, a 26 year old, were the ones that kept zapping momentum and/or just completely blowing it on defense. But go off, Malik.

  16. NightWorth7156

    He is correct.

Malik Monk is doing what Poole should be doing off the bench.

Good god, Poole is a fucking scrub.

  17. Same thing Ja and the grizzlies said. Then we whooped them after.

  18. meowmeowai

Naz Ried and Malik Monk. 2 People i never wanna face anymore.

  19. Wonderful-Media-2000

This should have been over in 4 maybe 5 games but we don’t get calls like the other 29 teams do

  20. royal-smuck

They weren’t tired, perhaps they rested game 6 lol.

  21. No-Zookeepergame7943

I want the Warriors to get angry as fuck and come out in Sunday with great purpose. As Don Draper said “I’m tired of this piddly shit.”

  22. Dazzling-Budget-7701

I just don’t see it. We’re old and small and have less than 48 hours to recover. Why can’t the most athletic team get on the floor when we are missing energy and athleticism? I would love to see us open up the bench before we’re down 15 in the third.

  23. Nalicar52

He isn’t wrong. But I still think we can win. But we did look way more tired out there.

  24. Moctezumas_heir

Warriors are toast. Kings will close it at home. No way they can win 2 on the road

  25. GiftedHater7

Sorry to say it, but our boys are in trouble

  26. lucho2040

Yeah, it felt like ir vets were about to turn to the dust, and our young guys. scratch that THE young guy on our team fumbled and didn’t look like himself.
