At the time, I hated this pick, even more when he revealed his intention to stay in Europe. Looking at the 2005 draft, there were really not any players that got drafted after him that would have altered the trajectory of the team, as we were already in the Dwight era. Fran was one of the top 5 blunders by Otis. I may be missing some, but these are the worst offenses.
