So obviously Santi did not have a great series overall, but the people who want to immediately axe him are wild. His growth from last year was huge and one playoff series when he wasnāt supposed to contribute anyways doesnāt mean itās time to move on. He had some rough defensive showings but he found his legs on offense a bit.
If heās included in a trade that gets us a big piece, okay fine. Just donāt see why people gave him so much shit. Iād argue heās had a more encouraging development arc than Ziareā¦

Dillon Brooks is now a free agent. I don’t know who will sign him now. His talking/shooting against LAL cost him a lot of $$ and maybe even a job in the NBA. He can probably catch on overseas. The Grizzlies def do NOT need to re-sign him!
