Suns offense wasn’t even that bad tonight. They can’t guard a soul and Murray brought the flamethrower.

  2. madamsquirrel7

Kinda forgot how good Jamal Murray is at basketball

  3. RabbitWolfie

Jimmy Butler and Jamal Murray torching teams just as they did in 2020, but casuals told me “the bubble doesn’t count”

  4. abris33

I don’t know who could have predicted it, but it turns out Murray > Facu

  5. simon2105

Nuggets are the most slept on first seed

  6. Cervicals

Suns are 0-1 since I failed my math exam

  7. MiaCannons

Damn, Cam “Campaign” Payne is with the garbage time unit now? How/Why did he fall off so hard?

  8. mambaforever2481

I tought the nuggets were the most fraudulent 1st seed ever and that the suns would expose them immediately.

  9. GGezpzMuppy

Jokic with his shooters going off? League fucked doesn’t matter if you have KD and Booker firing.

Some general thoughts on this game.

    – the stats to watch in this series is the gap at the 3pt line and if the Suns can win this series while taking/making far less threes this series. The nuggets were + 30 in the competitive portions of this game.

    – what adjustments do the Suns have for the Murray/Jokic PnR? They tried dropping in the first half and Murray smoked them, putting two on the ball just got Jokic deep post touches, and they don’t have the personnel to switch (really only Draymond, Bam, and AD could do that).

    – the Suns offence was fantastic but the way they score is so much more taxing and tiring on their stars versus how the nuggets score. This compounded with their lack of depth and Monty’s suicide rotations (playing KD 40+ minutes is asking for trouble) makes me think we need to see more actions that get KD/Booker on the move off-ball.

    – the Suns simply need to kill the nuggets when Jokic is off the floor and losing the Jokic on the bench minutes in the first half basically ended this game.

    – The Suns still have significant advantages in this series and Denver hasn’t shown a way to defend them in the half court yet. So I think they can win it will but it be a struggle. I think Denver is the favourites here.

**I’M READY TO OVERREACT. NUGGETS IN 4** but seriously though, this changes nothing and I still expect a long series

  12. slysonic7

Well our defense certainly has me concerned!

  13. slaythespirelover

Jamal Murray is Luka Doncic brother

  14. Brad-Stevens

Before the Suns pulled their starters:

    Suns – 5 threes

    Jamal Murray – 6 threes

    KCP/Gordon – 6 threes

You simply will never win that way

Big reason why I had Denver winning this series … The math is going to be TOUGH to overcome

  15. KiryuXGoro

Suns beat a healthy team challenge (Impossible)

  16. Dafatveteran

    3 Points > 2 Points

    Jamal Murray > Midrange Mafia

  17. lurkcitybaby

I really dont understand why a team with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker playing 40 minutes every game takes so few threes

  18. PumpkinHead555

Suns aren’t winning this series with that depth. Book and KD have to play 48 minutes to stand a chance

  19. TheGoldenLance

‪It’s so funny how many Suns fans said Jamal Murray wouldn’t make a difference in a series with us. Did they think he’s outplayed Booker head-to-head for his entire career by accident?‬

  20. CPage12

I guess Jamal Murray does make a difference huh Suns fans?

  21. SecretaryWilling5649

The Jokic-Murray tandem is a thing of beauty.

  22. VagabondReborn

The most concerning part of this for Phoenix is how tired everyone looked. They had 3 full days off between the last series and today and all their top guys looked exhausted by the 4th. Their age and lack of depth was showing

  23. lol-sub-of-simps

What going up against a fully healthy team does to a mfer

  24. dontleakmybootypics

If the Suns are KDs new super team then the Nuggets must be a superduper team

DENVER THROWING DOWN THE GAUNTLET IN GAME 1

  26. BathtubBobby

Suns should’ve scored more points if they wanted to win.

  27. ApplesAndToothpicks

Jokic finally has help man. I’ve been praying for times like these 🥹

  28. ChrisIsDaBomb17

The funniest part about this W is that Suns fans have been mocking Nuggets fans for saying Murray didn’t play last series & then he went off on them hahaha

  29. Kombuja

Just a reminder. Our guard rotation 2 years ago included Will Barton, Monte Morris, Facu Compazzo, and Austin Rivers.

We replaced that with Jamal Murray, KCP, Bruce Brown, and Christian Braun.

  30. raki016

Denver is so good. I really want them going up against the Celtics

  31. Betaateb

We still frauds, no one believe in us. We are just lucky, that is all. Nothing to see here.

  32. Tritivix

Where the Suns fans at shouting that their bench ain’t gonna be a problem?

  33. Padulsky21

Christian Braun is a menace. Scored a single point but his defense is legit and he’s a very good player. Denver’s perimeter D forcing a lot of turnovers has looked nice.

If Ayton continues playing like this I hope Monty looks back to KD at the 5 and sticks with it more. They desperately need to take more 3s too. Badly.

  34. owen5566

    – Bucks getting bounced earlier than expected
    – Kawhi and PG letting down Clipper fans
    – Jimmy Butler carrying the Miami Heat
    – Lakers beating up teams convincingly
    – Celtics are contenders
    – Jamal Murray turning into Michael Jordan

It is the bubble playback with fans

  35. MC48_SportsLover

I reeeaallllyyy hope we don’t get too comfortable. A win like that can give you a false sense of hope. KD and Book can give you 40 each at a moment’s notice. We gotta continue to be as aggressive as humanly possible.

  36. CulturalRoll

Nobody has commented on how Jamal Murray has comeback after an ACL tear. In such a tough environment (the playoffs), he is SHOWING OUT.

These players today are making injuries that at one point in time would’ve ended careers, look like ankle sprains
