Another failed Suns season. I've been watching these since Inwas a kid. The city gets overly hyped for nothing. Denver in 5.
Finally a Suns analyst who understands that "don't play Shamet" isn't any kind of answer to why the Suns were so exposed. There are reasons Ross, Wainwright, Lee, et. al. were available for the Suns. They're below average NBA players with real weaknesses. I suppose, since the defense is already so compromised, hoping Ross won't shoot your bench out of the game might work. But that isn't winning you a series against a championship contender and Denver is every bit a championship contender, as we saw tonight.
No depth, no chemistry, 56 year old washed up point guard, no defense, outclassed all over the court. You're fooling yourself if you think this series is wide open. Nuggs in 5.

Suns only need to slow the game and play zone to win this serie easily !
As great as KD and Booker are NBA Basketball is a team game.
The Nuggets have a main core that are a cohisive unit and a complete team that have played together all year.
I said it when the Suns signed KD look out! Next year not this year.

Ayton has been disappointing. He plays so soft. He has to be better than Jokic otherwise…
You can blame turnovers and poor rebounding on lack of effort. But more worrying thing is that there seems to be no plan on offense. Seems like Monty's plan is that KD and Booker are so terrific scorers, that they will just make all tough shoths. Meanwhile Denver plays team basketball and create easy shots for every player. This looks really bad for the Suns now.
Before blaming any player on this team, or complaining about short bench look at Monty Williams and think if he is doing a good job.
The Suns is a more talented team there no doubt of the Suns won 4 straight i wouldn't be surprised. However Monty Williams is a coach who will be himself. We've seen it in the finals we've seen it against Dallas.
Why they didnt double Murray is beyond me
How many times have we seen 2 stars with decent bench is the way go instead 3 stars n no suppporting cast. As usual all this hype is only in media abt suns.
Suns played 14 game together. They have no chemistry yet. One action with Ayton on offense. Then the rest is just iso, you go I go, with KD, Booker, CP3. Too easy to defend by good teams. Defensive rotations are way off. They look they’ve never seen a high screen and roll. With no bench points KD and Booker need to score 80 between them and hope CP3 and Ayton can give them 30 total. And that still will not be enough because the Suns will get killed by the large 3 point disparity again as they mostly take mid range shots. Kawhi being out lulled the Suns into a false sense of chemistry. Starters had to play crazy minutes to dispatch the Clippers JV. And the bench is non existent. That’s not changing. Denver in 5.
great to see Booker lose again, finally you play a real team and you lose. Hopefully your team fails miserably and Durant wants out! lol! Oh, by real team i mean a team that has its stars.
If Murray goes off like that we have no chance. He made LOTS of tough shots, gotta throw your hands up and say okay on about half of those in the 2nd half especially

"You watched Nuggets one or two games against Wolves and over the season just when playing against Suns and you are doing the preview of the round 2 series? Seriously? Ohh my how you would be surprised of how little you know about anything. Your KD trade gave you a chip already right? Just waiting for the finals? The Suns are not deep, the defense is not good and your main stars don't have chemistry (understandably with how little they played together). Ayton was already out in the middle of the season. In 2021 Suns were much much better team with bunch of wings and defenders you traded for KD. Unfortunately for you, CP is 2-3 years older now, KD is injury prone 34y old and without a supporting cast. Playing against Nuggets on altitude? No chance. If KL and PG were healthy in this series, you would be previewing now NFL trades, not round 2. You just got lucky against not complete Clippers. Nuggets in 5"

If the Suns messes around they might get swept.
They lost their depth when trading for KD. Simple as that. Plus Denver plays very well together.
