  1. Before this series, I had Denver over Phoenix in 7. The moment Skip Bayless starts picking teams, they're going to lose. Isn't he aware the record Philly has against Boston all year or in the playoffs dating back to the 1960s? It's been a week and isn't Skip aware Embiid is not playing tomorrow and may not play for the entire series?

I keep telling y'all, the Sixers are the Clippers of the East. They'll have a good regular season but something bad always happens to them come playoffs. So it doesn't really matter what the Clippers and Sixers do during the regular season or if Embiid wins MVP. They're cursed. An injury to one of their star players will wipe them out. Embiid's injury is more serious according to Shams.

Going back to the Denver-Phoenix series, even Eddie House who used to play for Phoenix and lives in Phoenix isn't buying these Suns. They're top heavy as f—. Again, only 4 players on the Suns scored in double-digits. This is a typical game from them. The Nuggets had 6 double-digit scorers which was their starting lineup and Bruce Brown.

The Suns is basically watching Booker and KD score as many points as they can while playing as many minutes as they can. They had an easy time against the Clippers minus their two best players. They won't have it easy in this round against a deeper and bigger team than them. Suns fans are hoping CP3 and Ayton can give them more than 20 if Jokić, Murphy, and Porter Jr. can achieve this and Gordon, KCP, and either Brown or Jeff Green gets double-digits.

I know Lakers fans would rather face Denver over Phoenix but I'm with Chuck. If Kings wins tomorrow, they're beating the Lakers too. The top 3 seed requirement is going to hold up. I said this before the playoffs started that we could have a Denver-Sacramento WCF. I could care if Lakers are heavily favored. Kings are no joke. They're sorta a cross between the 2014 & 2015 Warriors.

I win more money with Denver, so I'm hoping they win. Must win Game 2. Then try to split in Phoenix and end them in 5. Then everyone will expect Lakers to beat them. I don't see Lakers beating Sacramento, Denver, Golden State, or New York. In the East, it's Boston vs. New York. I believe NY shocks the world and not only makes the Finals but wins it.

I'll be ready. I have Knicks-Lakers parlays but just in case Lakers fails to reach the Finals, I'll be putting Knicks with Denver and Sacramento all over the place. Sac's odds are great right now. I might also put a little on Miami + Denver or Sac. You don't have to wager a lot to win a lot. I'll hit about $1400 in whatever result if we get Denver vs. Boston or Philly.

I'm already assuming if Sac wins tomorrow and Denver beats Phoenix, the prohibitive West favorite will be the Lakers and they will lose prior to the Finals. It's very, very rare for a non-top 3 seed to win it all. But I'm making an exception only to the 5th seed Knicks. A 5th (Knicks), 7th (Lakers), and 8th seed (Heat) has never won it all. I won't make the same exceptions to the Warriors, Lakers, and Heat.. Only NY. Win it all for Willis Reed.

The Knicks' defense looks truly special to make those exceptions for them. The best D I've seen since 2008 and 2004.

    Nuggets over Suns
    Warriors or Kings over Lakers

    Celtics over Sixers
    Knicks over Heat

    Nuggets over Warriors or Kings
    Knicks over Celtics

    Knicks over Nuggets

  2. it's No way KD CP3 & Booker is going to lose this round 👈 y'all can take it to the Bank 🏧

  3. PHX sixth man is Torrie Craig…They have no chance making it out of this round. Denver's depth can't be matched.

  4. I'm not surprised after Game 1. We knew Denver was gonna take the first game. Phoenix will make some adjustments in Game 2 on Monday.

  5. If the other suns can't step up including Booker they are going to be done in 5-6 games KD was the facilitator rim defender and only reliable scorer in the 1st-3rd quarter and the only reason it wasn't a blowout before halftime

  6. I’d be more surprised about the Suns advancing past em than I would about this blowout. Considering the depth of the Nuggets and the lack of depth on the Suns, combined with how hard the Suns had to work against a depleted Clippers team…

  7. The national media and the especially disappointing and–I'm sorry–ignorant PHX fan base relentlessly argued that the Nuggets missing Murray and the rest of their back court in the 2021 series meant nothing. The Nuggets were starting Facu Campazzo and Austin Rivers during that series. The Nuggets had no chance whatsoever. Did I mention no chance whatsoever? But we all heard literally endlessly that the Nuggets missing their entire back court (playoff Murray at 25 ppg and Will Barton at 18 ppg) had no effect on the series. Laughable. A little harder to win a series when you don't back into wins through opponents being destroyed by injuries like all the Suns wins in 2021 and v the Clippers in the 1st round.

  8. These stats are out of control. Most playoff games with at least 5 points a rebound and over 2 minutes.
Most playoffs with 2 points and zero blocks 😂. Most playoff games with at least 1 point in the first 3 quarters

  9. Yeah they did surprises him! Everybody doubted Nuggets but reality is this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  10. It will be more than walk in the park for either teams. Much to mine (ours) enjoyment.
Since I am Denver fan, I am jubilant. The team potential is finally at full display. Except for Joker, although he did dominate under baskets.

  11. Nuggets looked good.
They’re deep, have the back-back mvp, healthy Murray and MPJ.

    Suns in 6!

  12. The media reporter asking murray if they're surprised if they won just shows how little everyone watches the nuggets smh

  13. Denver Nuggets, "#1 seed for a season." Perfect title from ESPN, they lettin yall know who's about to be Champs. Denver Nuggets, 2023 NBA champions 💪💯

  14. I wish these games were 60 minutes long instead of 48, that's how good that basketball was last night. "Blowout" win for the nuggets but felt competitive the whole time, man this is some great basketball.

  15. Suprised? Nuggets when everybody's healthy is a legit contender team. Murray was injured for so long people forgot how good he is. Also denver got themselves really good defensive pieces, right know they've got one of the best roster in the nba.

  16. Jamal nailed it. No player is surprised at how good the Nuggs are. No coach is surprised at how good the Nuggs are. No GM is surprised at how good the Nuggs are. They were in 1st place in the west since December. It’s the media who were surprised because THEY DONT WATCH NUGGETS GAMES they just look at box scores and watch highlights on SC.

  17. Nuggets did the same thing to the timberwolves. They blew them out in game 1 but after that it became a tight series every game so you never know

  18. Kevin Durant did not sign up for this . Phoenix Better not mess up another piggyback Ring for him !
