He should’ve never got paid to begin with, they extended him banking on him to be their future, he put up great numbers but T-Wolves but at the end of the day T-Wolves never went anywhere with him..they convinced themselves saying they gotta get more help for their young star so they added Jimmy Butler, only to get called out by Butler, T-Wolves FO “needed to get rid of Butler” because he was a problem for them and their locker room because Butler was speaking the truth. FO kept trying to talk themselves into KAT because they drafted him & don’t want to be in the wrong so they essentially babied him and traded Butler away, then traded for his best friend D-Lo because of their chemistry, only to see them go all in on Gobert & trade D-Lo away. T-Wolves with him as their franchise player only got 2 playoff appearances and 1st round exits out of them all. Not all KAT fault but people need to stop making excuses for him too, they traded for you best friend & they built a team around you and still nothing to show for it. T-Wolves FO need a reality check, should’ve flipped him for Gobert straight up or throw in a few picks and kept all them role players to build around Edwards & Gobert..KAT became expendable this season when they brought in Gobert, if T-Wolves FO is smart, they should trade KAT in the summer to recuperate some assets back and get ride of that contract, build around Edwards & Gobert and if you can add another Superstar at the deadline or in the summer, do so. KAT time being a T-Wolves haven’t been good no playoff success, empty stats & stat padding to look good on paper but watch the game and it’s totally different. Move on and build around Edwards
kat is like AD if AD isn't aggressive in offense but unlike kat, AD play defence even if AD has times were his offense is terrible

Edwards emerging as the franchise player is probably good for Towns and the T-Wolves. Towns doesn't have the right mentality to be a franchise player.

as a lifelong Wolves fan I already agree without watching the video, his softness has been a problem his entire career and we’re sick of it here in MN, the team has been afraid to let him go while all these other talented centers dominate the leage but Towns holds the team back and expects the ball in his hands, he’s got a lethal baby hook and a huge frame but he gets backed down by smaller guys and loves to jack up 3 pointers, don’t even get me started on the way he’s too afraid and timid to go up for a rebound. Ant is a beast and he has the mentality I hope we can rally around. But Towns still thinks he’s the star and doesn’t realize there’s guys putting more work and he doesn’t believe in himself enough. I think it’s a mix of poor coaching and people inflating his ego too much, it’s sad to see but he’s gotta reevaluate his strengths and what he brings to the table, and this could go for any NBA player but the way KAT plays just definitely reflects coaches developing unneeded shooting/dribbling skills and reassuring the player too much, I’d just like to see him more confident his OWN skill set and used accordingly. Like I said his post hook is pure efficiency and he’s strong with a massive frame and wide shoulders. The only player I can think of that has as much body mass is Jokic and he wins MVPs because he uses his size right. I don’t want to see any more of the poor offensive possessions when Towns could at least get high percentage shot. The Defense or lack there of is a problem itself but it doesn’t help to have one of the strongest post players in the league waiting around outside the 3 pt line to jack up a 25 footer
Towns is trash he has no heart no will to want to be the best
Looking at all of the number 1 pick players who aren't living up to expectations (Kat, zion, Ben Simmons, deAndre Ayden). These guys haven't done anything special in the NBA. They are either injury-prone, care about money, or chase woman. These guys don't love basketball, they are nothing but pretty boys who care about their looks on camera.
Julius Randle is in the same way, but he forces all the shots and his efficient goes off. Probably the worst “ 1st option “ in the league
They need to move from Towns to Edwards for their main star and 1st attacking option

I’ll add this let’s just be honest Karl Anthony Towns at 27 soon to be 28 in November SHOULD HAVE been looked at as a Future Hall of Famer What I’m saying is after year one I would of argued that he’d be a perrenial All Star a future MVP Multiple all nba particularly first team There was a poll from executives like in 2017 that said if they were starting a franchise they select KAT as their franchise player to build around Hes underwhelmed in his career He leaves so much to be desired but at 27 years old I believe he is who he is at this point Trade him n build around Edwards
He has some ridiculous skills. He's a center who is an elite three point shooter but still has the build of a center. He just seems to have no drive/no ambition/no aggression. He should be out there demanding the ball and scoring on anyone in the league from anywhere on the court with the skillset he has while also getting you 10+ rebounds a game. Add in even average level defense and he would be a top 5 player in the league.
I read the knicks want him. Really the wolves have to make a choice between him and gobert.
One of the few things that Jimmy Buttler and I can agree on. He gives up as many points defensively as he makes offensively.
