Everything about his game screams top 5 player. IMO that’s the expectation. He’s special

Starting next year, he’s good enough to be the main guy on a championship team.

Up to the Wolves to put the right pieces around him.

I knew exactly what play Trey was talking about lmao. It’s crazy tho because I admittedly thought people were overrating Ant’s ceiling, but the playoffs completely murdered my expectations. He’s special.

Top 5 all time when it’s all said and done 😮‍💨

I think Ant is one of those guys that could be a back half of the top 10 sort of player. Huge scorer, potential to be a very good defender, a decent but not great playmaker and passer.

Jaden is a great player to pair with him, as an elite versatile defender with potential to be a good secondary offensive option.

That totally depends on ANT. How strong is his competitive fire?

His potential is absolutely top 5, if not the best player in the league.

We’ve seen how locked in, tenacious, and automatic he can be. He puts up MJ/Kobe like numbers when he’s taking over games. But is he the first player in the gym? Is he working on his weaknesses? Does he *want* this? The sky is the limit, and the sky is in his head.

Last year felt like a welcome to the playoffs moment for ant and he knew he wanted to be back. This year probably burns him a little more. Say Conley gets him to build a few more good habits im confident in him taking another leap in year 4. Being the guy every night. Ant had a great season and absolutely was the guy and consistent. But we need his intensity level to stay high against the sub .500 teams and even more.

Wrong answer his ceiling is the Timberwolves… and there ability to build around home and motivate the next steps. If they waste the next two season like they have been he’ll have lots some important formative years.

Knew what play Trey was referring to before they even showed the clip. Ant is just so electric that so many plays he makes are permanently etched into your memory.

    It’s too early to say.

I know I’mma be downvoted into oblivion for being even remotely negative about Ant, but at this point of his career, he’s gotten by mostly on his athleticism.

He’s not *particularly * a great shooter, he can’t get to the line, he’s not really a good playmaker, but there’s also nothing *stopping* him from being one. He just has to learn the game; some people make that stride, and many don’t.

My biggest concern is who we surround him with to make that leap in knowledge. Right now we don’t have anyone other than Mike Conley that he can really emulate to learn those skills. It’s honestly what makes the Jimmy drama even more depressing; no matter how big of an asshole he was, that Jimmy mindset meshes perfectly with Ant’s abilities.

I would like to see Point Ant more frequently next season, I loved watching him play make from the gravity he has on the court and just having shooters around him. I’m not saying this to critics Rudy, I think they can figure it out but if next season the chemistry is the same with Rudy then you just gotta pivot and see if you can get angles turner or just have one “center”
