The Clippers Are STUCK With Kawhi and PG

The Los Angeles Clippers’ season once again ended in injury-fueled disappointment, with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George sidelined while their scrappy yet helpless team bowed out in the first round of the playoffs. Even worse, there’s nothing LA can do to fix it.

  1. The clippers need to look at the Pacific division alone. Lakers 2020 Champs, Suns 2021 Western conference champs, Warriors 2022 Champs, and Kings 2023 Division Champs. What have the clippers done???

  2. Meanwhile Russel Westbrook STAYS grinding, KEEPS KEEPING ON. If mans ain't build to last mans need to RETIRE.

    Expeditiously.

  3. Where's this same energy for Durant. Players get hurt and be out just as much if not more than Kawhi.

    Durant's last 4 years:
    (19-20) Out with Achilles
    (20-21) 35/82
    (21-22) 55/82
    (22-23) 47/82

    Kawhi Last 4 Years:
    (19-20) 57/82
    (20-21) 52/82
    (21-22) Out with ACL
    (22-23) 52/82

  4. Nah, there are a lot of excuses for that bubble run.

    Lemon Pepper Lou
    Double agent Harrell
    0% Reggie
    Doc Rivers
    Bully Morris
    Pandemic P

If these guys showed up to help Kawhi they go far.

I also believe it was a good thing they choked cos LeBron sweeping Kawhi would have been bad for his legacy. Every great player has been swept or blew a 3-1 lead.

  5. it's funny to hear "failure" so often in this piece after Giannis' essay on why 'failure' is overused in sports lol

  6. Im over Kawhi leaving Toronto. But seeing Kawhi's time in LA, im very concerned for him. Injuries, chokes and his sister getting life in prison.

  7. Lil disappointed y’all didn’t say anything about Russ potentially staying, makes the team undeniably better.

  8. If Kawhi's career were that of a pro wrestler, he would be Ahmed Johnson. That guy was so over with the fans initially, but he could never stay healthy.

Even when Ahmed WAS competing, he irritated all his other fellow wrestlers, and the WWE office brass lost patience after giving him ample opportunities to shine.

  9. I said it when he left. Kawhi will come to regret his move if not already. Had a championship team, a city who literally treated him like a god, and one of the best injury staffs in the league. And he left that for what? Failure and more injuries in LA? Super low IQ move for a superstar who needs a very specific kind of environment to thrive.

  10. You can hype them up all you want like y'all do EVERY YEAR. I just came back to check on y'all after the Lakers advanced to the 2nd round 😂🤣

  11. All downhill for Kawhi since he left the Six… should’ve never left. Blame Uncle Dennis. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  12. I don't want to see the team the Clippers put on the floor when their new arena opens. It'll most likely be a bottom feeder.

  13. Also from a business perspective they can’t open a new arena without superstars on the roster. That’s business 101 you can do it but it makes no sense

  14. the problem is if kawhi goes to a really good team its really scary but if he gonna be your main guy its not gonna work just do the KD style and he be good

  15. They’ll both get injured again this upcoming season 🙂 I’m telling y’all these taller players are way more injury prone. PG needs to gain a good 20 pounds to be able to take impact better. Kawhi just hates seeing people 💀

  16. As long as the clippers stick with Kawhi the team is not going anywhere.
Time for them to blow up the team and I guess it was mistake for Kawhi leaving the raptors

  17. It’s funny how these haters come up with these bullshit stories about how Clipper fans are supposedly dreading next season when in fact we can’t wait for it to get started. Nobody’s dreading anything you idiot.
