It’s really that simple in this matchup. LeBron has to attack the rim like no other matchup to win
told everyone Warriors Lakers
This duo is doing better numbers than the herd
The problem with the Lakers is, they're not a team. Again.
They're a bunch of really good players – but they haven't played together long.
Warriors been playing together a decade. They've won a chip together, with THIS squad.
Steph been the best since he won the scoring title two years ago. He’s just unstoppable.
Steph be talking trash too
“They can’t finish”-Steph Curry
Its a slugfest but in the end the more seasoned boxer took it to another level, outlasted the young upcoming fighter in the last round.
Lakers in 6
Lakers in 6.
The thing is, it's not just Wiggins that'll defend LeBron. It'll be Wiggins, plus Draymond as the best help defender in the league. It's not going to be an easy time for slow, back the guy down, post play – and that's LeBron's best bet against Wiggins. There's just too much other help out there, and then there's the sneaky steals that'll come from Steph and GP2.
I think the Lakers will live or die on how well Rui and DLo do.
I think this version of the NBA is better than the one with super teams. One or two stars per team with a bunch of complimentary pieces. The balance of competition is more level, role players get more opportunity to shine, and super stars have to elevate their game because they don't have the insurance of falling back on 2 other eliter players
GSW has lot of great players that know their role. Lakers will need to play out of their minds to stop Steph Curry just to make this a series. Lebron is not gonna go away, and fighting for his legacy and to remain in this league. This is going the entire way.
i think we're getting a little hyperbolic. giannis didn't coach here, it was a bud vs. spoe thing in my opinion. also 'steph is not limited'? i would love to see him guarding a giannis type player.also, steph played an unexperienced team that was weak defensively. he'll make the case if he can keep it up over the next rounds, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. i think a lot of players are in the playoffs remaining that potentially can make their case
Reeves and Hachirama give you 20 nightly. They are not inconsistent.
Steph everyday allday over Giannis Bumbass
One thing we have to say someday: Miami has the greatest culture in the NBA. That's it. They have the best coach in the east, the best GM in the east, and the best playoff performer in the east.
In the west, the Warriors still can claim that title for themselves, but let's face it, Miami did a lot with a lot less talent…
I just don't get it, best player to me represents offense AND defense. The best is for all around game in my eyes, not just offense or just defense. Jason loves guitar players. The comparison for me is guitar playerS who can only play lead but can't play rhythm or vice versa. Give me the guitar players who are excellent at both, even better if they can play both at the same time.
1. WILL LEBRON GET BETTER WITH HIS SCORING IN GENERAL AND FREE THROW SHOOTING?
2. WILL AUSTIN REAVES, RUI HACHIMURA PLAY DEFENSE?
3. WILL LAKERS IN GENERAL PLAY BETTER BY SHOOTING THREES?
4. WILL LEBRON BE BETTER DEFENSIVELY?
WARRIORS IN 6
Giannis was never the best player in the world. That hype riding off of 2021 finals which he wouldn't be there if it wasn't for injuries… Giannis is the best was always ridiculous take
I’ll go ahead and say Steph is the best team player ever. Easily is the best player on any team he could play for.
And you know who prides himself or is “goated” for being a team player? Lebron James.
Steph is a way better player than the Greek Freak
As much as I’m looking forward to lakers vs warriors, both of them are proving that seeding & therefore the regular season don’t matter that much anymore
Lebrons not a Swiss Army knife right now , he’s more like magic right now still good at passing and slashing. If he added a hook shoot to his fadeaway though that would be nice
Nick right punching the air rn
Shocker warriors win and we get a 25 min video. Kings win a big game 6 and they get an 8 min video
Denver in 6
Steph been the best player and the face of the league the last 8 years!
As for the Lakers-GSW, GSW in 5, max 6. Who is chasing Steph around?
This series will be decided by 2 factors…
For warriors how well the team steps up to the occasion cause Lakers and lebron will forcus on guard Curry and slowing him down as much as they can.
Lakers on weather Lebron and lakers can break down Warriors defense
by now we know Lebron goes off when he face Curry, but the issue is if he can get his teammates going when does that. Series are very different from play-in cause you need to get guys to buy in for a 7 games instead of just one game.
