Irving doesn’t get it that he is too risky

  2. swaggyp29

They have a good thing going with Russell so no reason to get another PG especially one that’s a team cancer

  3. dont worry bro was there for the Grizzlies the whole time šŸ˜ˆšŸ”„šŸ¤”

ā€œKyrie can be reunited with his father figureā€ – ESPN prob

Charlotte should go after Kyrie. Just let him make highlight plays so we can love Kyrie again.

  6. JohnLemonnn69

Why should they go for him? Both Dlo and Reaves are already perfect tertiary players behind Bron and AD.

Going for Kyrie will only gut their cap flexibility. Besides, LA can’t afford any more drama and added injuries as they look not to waste Bron’s remaining prime years

Their newfound depth should not be sacrificed, even without considering Kyrie’s cons.

  8. Russell Westbrook might have been the inoculation the Lakers needed against future “vital role players for star” trades the Lakers might have fallen victim to.

I don’t think Kyrie signs there without a trade, because I think the Mavs are the only team that will pay him what he wants.

  9. This is smart. They have an excellent roster right now. No need to mess that up.

LA is not signing an antisemitic player to play in Hollywood.

I think bron learned his lesson. At this point in his career, depth is better than a superteam. Depth is the sole reason they were able to stay afloat while his foot healed.

  12. Geezmanswe

No one is surprised. They would have zero depth with him on the team.

Despite his talent…Kyrie is about to go from team to team for the rest of his career…Isn’t he?

Talent cannot always override personality issues.

Not to be pedantic, but allow me to be pedantic: they are uninterested, not disinterested.

  15. _canadianbacon

Why fix something that isn’t broken, they can take this current roster into next year and be just fine

  16. I would like for the Lakers to spend the next week focused heavily on this issue.

  17. wilsonh915

Uninterested. Disinterested would mean they’re unbiased in some dispute.

  18. ResolutionForsaken80

If the lakers don’t win they are going to sign kyrie 100%

The guy destroys every team he goes to by the way. Russell is perfect fit for that teams anyways. They donā€™t need the constant distractions he brings.

  20. wolfishnickelsyr

Why did the mavs even trade for him? I hope they donā€™t give him a big contract. Heā€™s gonna take the money and pull some bs again

  21. CertifiedCapArtist

Well he deffo won’t be a Maverick that’s for sure

  22. Jack_M_Steel

Itā€™d be weird to go after Kyrie unless he took the minimum. This team hasnā€™t even had a full season together, but just took down the second seed. Iā€™d say theyā€™d be favorites if they were together the whole year and had chemistry built up.

  23. Lakers get knocked out by the warriors

Sources: lakers are interested in irving

  24. EcstaticTill9444

How many teams has he imploded??

    Edit: Cavs. Celtics. Nets. Mavs.

He won a championship with the Cavs but bolted to Boston.

Boston is now much better without him.

Nets imploded in part because of him.

Mavs missed the playoffs after adding him.

  25. Boomhauer_007

Thatā€™s a shame because he would definitely make them worse

  26. rawdfarva

It’s not even June and we’re already getting Kyrie rumors
