bane is like a better version of klay so they got good practice with how to guard someone like that. Not as lethal of a shooter (but still elite) but better floor game.
the issue is to defend curry without over-sacrificing other options so players have to be able to move on a string.

AR has honestly made Klay his bitch this season lol and Reaves has only gotten better as the season has gone on.
Looking forward to AR locking him up all series.

Very interesting thing to notice here is that it’s actually AD on Draymond so that he can sag off and lurk the pick and rolls. I like this strategy to start the series.
Reaves was getting hit with a lot of illegal screens that weren’t called in Memphis. Look forward to even more of that in Golden State. Its going to be a long series for our perimeter players who are going to be bounced around like ping pong balls

AR’s defense last season and early this season is the reason why he’s in the starting lineup now. People forget he’s actually a great defender when he’s actually focused on defense.

But yes let’s speak on it cause I’ve been saying that our guards do a better job of guarding less athletic/quick backcourts like the warriors and the suns. They’re also good at navigating screens (JV isn’t a guard but he’s elite at this) and you can see Dennis & Dlo are doing a good job of sticking with Poole/DDV. Someone could probably put together a compilation like this against Klay for Troy too.
Can’t wait for Klay to hit Reaves with the “I have 4 rings” BS he seems to do when he can’t perform
I’d let Draymond and Looney try to beat us on offense. Steph and Klay both getting doubled the entire game no 1 on 1’s.
Klay will be fired up to play in LA in front of his dad and family. Would you be surprised if he pops off for a 40 pt night? I wouldnt be.
