Mavs have some leverage(but so does Kyrie).
If they offer what they should which is 3 years at 40 a year(still over paying) is so much lower than he is probably expecting. He might decide to take a big pay cut on a one year deal with the lakers and see if he can finally win a chip.
But I would give this than a 50% chance of happening even if the mavs kinda low ball him as the Lakers would still have to cut a lot for a one year rental(as they won't have bird rights to offer a big contract the next season)

How did the Mavs get into this roster disaster??? It all started with the hiring of Jason Kidd and that shoe exec as the GM. This combo obviously have no clue how to build a winning roster.
