  1. We have brought him along very cautiously. That said i think he has good hoops ahead. Sign him.

  2. Absolutely sign Zach, he plays very smart and makes great decisions when to score or pass and he's not bad on defense, absolutely solid big man and I've been thinking of the same topic, sign this man long term, and if we get Wemba move Zach to power forward. GSG

  3. What I really liked about Jakob was ability to help move the ball in the half court offense. In time Collins will improve in that area. Spurs need Collins toughness and offensive game. Defensively he does not back down. He does let Wemby play the PF position if that scenario unfolds.

  4. Hope the question being asked in a few months is how much should we pay Collins to be Wembayama's backup

  5. "Jacob who?!" Lol
Is this more spurs brilliance or luck?!
    Go Zach! Stay healthy dammit!
    GSG!

  6. he is good, and he is not calm "nice guy" like Poeltl, when need to fight, he fights, I think he and Sochan are good duo and play good together, I like it, I hope no injuries for him

  7. Norm!!! I mean, Rich!! Thanks for the great post, sir. It looks like Zach has been working hard to heal and to grow in his skill set. He has a solid all-around game and his outside shooting is really needed on this team. He has earned a contract renewal.
I look forward to your next post.

  8. Lets help this man achieved his dreams he is the best independent critic for the Spurs. Spread the love and share with everyone he deserve it.

  9. I think Zack is a solid player, sign him up for the long term. even if we luck out and get Wemby. " IT'S TIME !!! " To start building a winning program! How many draft picks do we need ? Let's start using them, GO SPURS GO!

  10. Zach Collins is playing like a perfect 20 mins a night big man off the bench who can help stretch the floor on a playoff team with the Victor starting. 3 YR/30ish MIL. A lot of his foul trouble/turnovers are little silly moves I think he can continue to cut out of his game and become the back up to the 🐐Victor

  11. Great Stream TSR ⚫️⚪️⚫️when he was hurt coming to us in 2021 his team energy on the bench was lookin like "I can't wait to get out there and bring it in the silver and black "

  12. I think we should give a nice to Mamu as well ,he is a dynamic PF ,and If we play small ball he can slide into ,5 Jeremy to 4 and kj to 3 that's enough to get those 50/50 balls

  13. Hey Rich. Are you saying it's his last year because you believe he'll be the one ditched over your KJ? 😂 I believe Wemby has already expressed he doesn't wanna be playing at 5. With Sochan on the rise, KJ is most likely the one to be ditched. He's likely reached his ceiling, playing the same lackadaisical defense since day1, still not a good playmaker, only a 2-level scorer and is usually undersized for his position. Malaki kinda gives you almost everything KJ can offer and then some (defense, length/size, 3-level scoring with particularly has so much higher ceiling) at an even younger age. And although, Zach's age is relatively older, it's kinda hard to find a center like him nowadays who can stretch the floor that well and plays that hard. As great as a person Jacob is, he's never a good idea long term. He's also reached his ceiling and couldn't even improve on his FT, much less gain a 3pt shooting which is necessary in today's NBA.

  14. the Spurs are set to be real competitors next year. We got a SOLID young core and they already understand the system plus have real chemistry. If we can get a superstar in this draft, we can be contenders in 2-3 years

  15. Don't think Vic will start at center as a rookie given his growing and developing body so we could still have Zach start at the 5, and in that case Keldon moves down a slot to SF where he might be more comfortable, and Jeremy starts as our PG?

  16. Wemby is not a Center though. He's playing the 4… dare I say even the 3 in the NBA. IF he got slotted into center, It would be out of pure necessity .

  17. Even with the loses, I believe we are witnessing the beginning of another Dynasty…Puro pinche Spurs!

  18. I disagree. If Victor gets drafted by the Spurs I say move Vic to the 4 and keep Zack at the 5. I think VW works so much better as a power forward than center mostly because of his skinny frame. He could turn into a Tim Duncan/Dirk Nowitzki type. 🤷
