  1. I didn't know this video existed! Love season videos of the runner ups, but I only know of the Portland ones from the early 90s. Any more?

  2. Their last yr at the silverdome they set an nba attendance record for reg season games the only time total attendance reached over 1 mil.

  3. i was eleven at the time and the BadBoys made me a Piston fan to this day..

    btw im from Greece

  4. As a fan of the Lakers in the 80s, and then a fan of the Jazz in the 90s — I loathed the Pistons and esp. Laimbeer far more than any other team or player…
That being said this documentary takes me back to that 'golden age of basketball' when Detroit was a dirty hard-fouling team that was hated…
They had lots of diverse personalities and a certain charisma and intimidating presence on the court that was hard to deny — somewhat similar to the '85 Bears which team may have been the best defensive NFL team of all time…

Even though I didn't like the Pistons, I have watched the 30/30 Bad Boys documentary a full three times: It's one of the most interesting 30/30 documentary that ESPN has ever made…

  5. Those were bad motherfuckers!
    Detroit bad boys!
They just left a mark forever,NBA before and after them…🔥

  6. I love the dramatic orchestral style of the music in old school sports documentary videos! It makes every scene feel like the end of Rocky II (or 1 perhaps, it’s been a long time since I seen them but I believe my point is still valid).

  7. superstar describes isiah thomas and legend describes michael jordan larry bird magic johnson and kareem abdul-jabbar

  8. I'm a bulls fan n I hated the Pistons, but, gotta give em credit. Dirty play or not they were a good team.
Of course I loved it when the bulls swept them in 91 lol
