(@ekoreen) Anyway, we all owe Dillon Brooks a debt of gratitude for sledgehammering the biggest stereotype about Canadians.

    We dont claim him.

Teams wont be lining up to pay him a long term deal, but he wont be out of the league. He is a very good defender and a team will offer him a chance on a buy low deal.

A good coach should be able to force him to stop his penchant for launching Kobe shots. Just be the a solid wing defender. Kings, Cavs and Suns should all be interested in him.

Can’t wait for half of this fanbase to demand us go after him cause he’s Canadian 🙄

actually, stereotypes about sauga mans have only been reinforced

People thinking he’ll be outta the league is crazy, he has too much impact on the locker room in Memphis that’s why they won’t even offer him a minimum but teams like the Bucks, Cavs, Heat will offer him a MLE expectation (if they have it/can cause I’m not too familiar with the new CBA rules).

This is way too much hate for a role player. He’s from Mississauga and even Raptors fans are joining the hate train. Sickening.

He’s no different than a talented NHL enforcer and instigator. He brings that aspect of hockey into the NBA and people aren’t used to it.

A cheap 6th man that is an elite wing defender who is also looking to redeem himself with a second chance after his prior team basically threw him away.. I’m sure his agent is telling him to get his shit together or he’ll end up playing in China. Nice pickup for whoever gets him.

Idk if anyone caught this, but on TSN, there were Canadian NBA player commercials, talking about how we are being better represented in the League..

Only for Brooks to be left out.

    I’m here for it đź«Ł

LOL I hope the Raptors don’t sign him purely because people already hate on the Raptors enough, we don’t need to give them one more reason lol

Fred and Dillon Brooks have the potential to be the worst heat check, irrational confidence, backcourt in the league.

  13. PlumCantaloupe

As a backup for OG, he would be a good bench player. Probably worth the risk but I imagine many teams will be looking at him for that role.

  14. Interbrett

Lol he was totally scapegoated. Dillion would be awesome on the raps with the right leadership.

I HATE DB but he’s going to stick around for a long time. Someone just needs to take him under his wing and tell him to shoot less and he’ll recover from this mess he created for himself. I know it’s ass efficiency but he’s not far removed from scoring over 16 PPG on good volume from 3 and okay percentages.
