[Charania] After winning MVP last night, during a quick 76ers celebration, Joel Embiid turned to the team and said: “I’m back.” Embiid is indeed on track to return tonight in Game 2 vs. Celtics barring setbacks, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

We smokescreened ourselves into believing it was a smokescreen

It’s over, you bog Irish bastards.

This would be a dumb decision if he returns while he’s not 100%. They already stole home court , extra days of rest would be good for him

After clearing off his plate last night, during a quick dessert celebration, Kelvin Benjamin turned to the buffet line and said: “I’m back.”

Benjamin is indeed on track to return tonight with seconds barring setbacks, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

  8. People really thought he was gonna pull a Kawhi lmao. Embiid ain’t like that.

Anyone who says some shit like we have a “better chance” to win without him has no clue what they’re talking about. We actually have rim protection with Joel on the court, regardless of if he’s 80% or 100% he still provides so much more regarding defense and spacing offensively that it’s a no-brainer to play him if he thinks he’s ready. I could only imagine how much adrenaline one must get after winning an award such as the NBA MVP.

    He’s back!

Thrilled the Sixers aren’t content with just splitting in Boston when they can really take control of the series

Did Kendrick Perkins guilt his knee into working?

If we’re going to lose games, I’d rather be losing to a team with Embiid playing tbh lol

This shit is so funny. Not even chatGpt can come up with it.

  15. James Harden yelled, “There you go!” Tyrese Maxey gave a look of pleasant surprise. P.J. Tucker belted, “We got an [expletive] squad now.” And before Joel Embiid hit the locker room door, ex-NBA coach Doc Rivers hugged him & said, “Y’all look so different.”

Rest him for one more game, they already snatched one on the road anyway. Like Jimmy, no reason to risk him

  17. _philosopher

It will be funny if they lose the next 4 with Embiid playing and Jokic sweeps the Suns. The memes will be legendary.

  18. breighvehart

No way would I let him play if I’m the Philly staff. Already got the one you needed in Boston

Better be careful, don’t want to Blake Griffin your career.
