7 offensive rebounds. Dude is a monster

  2. thayungsavage

I said WHAT?! When they said he had 21, was shocked

  3. FershureB

4 out offense when the guy guarding you is forced to help would definitely get you a lot offensive rebounds

  4. KDNeedsMoreHelp

I wonder how many rebounds he got without pushing 🤔

  5. Cleaner_BC

Dude is definitely a beast I’ll say that.

  6. Wondering_Nova

One of the hardest working players in the NBA. He knows what’s keeping him in the league and he’s excelling at it in the playoffs. You have to respect him. Warriors have themselves a great big man for their system.

Matched AD rebound for rebound. The funny thing is I think no other Warrior had more than 5 rebounds.

  8. imnotknox

Not to take away from his game, the warriors literally have 3 players leak after every shot one staying for the outlet, Looney is literally the only one that crashes the boards it’s how their system runs

  9. LAlakers4life

#PLUS HE WILL HOLD PUSH AND SET MOVING SCREENS AT A ELITE LEVEL

  10. Dagenius1

I agree it didn’t feel like he had 23 boards. Before they said it I would have guessed 15/16

I felt like we did a pretty good job of keeping him off the offensive glass despite him having 7 ORB’s. He collected like 4 of those in 2 possessions only equalling 4 points. He is legit their only defensive rebounder it seems like so this isn’t surprising. AD still dominated despite this number.

  12. SixGunChimp

I mock Looney, but the truth is the dude is a dog when it comes to boards.

  13. Bosna1909

In fairness, he’s the only guy who can really rebound all that well aside from Draymond in their rotation.

  14. obliterateopio

So? They were still out rebounded on the defensive and offensive glass lol

  15. chloroform42

AD bounced him and he still had a good game, that’s gonna be the series

  16. SneakerPxmp

And it didn’t even matter with his 23 boards.

  17. Drew-Money

This is the first game in the playoffs that Looney had over 20 rebounds and they lost. Great sign going forward

  18. Brunobrunobrunobru

There was 2 sequences that he got those, one in the first half when he got his misses and the 4th quarter. He also rebounds for them so it will look massive but they kept him only to 7 Offensive rebounds which like I said came off of two plays in which he got his own misses. The effectively neutralized him

  19. Can someone run the numbers on how many of his rebounds are from his own bricked layups? He gets 3 rebounds for every shot he takes.

  20. jono9898

Ok so Looney is definitely a rebounding monster…. But- his offensive rebounds came from his own misses mostly and he pushes even more than Draymond, yes he had a 20 plus rebounds game but it just didn’t feel like he had the impact of a dude that got 20 plus rebounds. AD ate his lunch, took his wallet, rizzed up his girl and stepped on his J’s.

  21. Dr_Manhattans

I didn’t realize he had that many either, but 5+ of those were his own because he can’t shoot. They suck him off but he was a non factor and can’t touch AD like we all told them. No offense to Looney he’s a good dude but AD isn’t Sabonis.

  22. He’s a beast on the boards but I noticed that he gets away with his forearm pushing our centers backs when going for offensive rebounds

  23. batmanstuff

I felt like a handful of those were him rebounding his own missed shot.
