Other fan bases don’t understand what it’s like to have The Process and get to live through it with The Process, as if he’s just memeing with all of us but simultaneously really fucking good at basketball. It just feels like an inside joke our whole city is a part of and Embiid is the centerpiece. So happy for him and I hope he can bounce back from his knee injury and take us to the promise land.
I never understood why the league forcing us to have a dunce as our GM, who had multiple burners, squandered our assets, fractured relationships with our players wasn’t a big deal.
Silver literally stepped in himself and destroyed a lot of the momentum we had with Colangelo, and it’s just been an afterthought after Colangelo’s disgraceful exit. I don’t understand why this wasn’t a bigger thing at the time
No other superstar in the league has had to deal with the shit he has over the years. Like, not even a fraction of it. The injuries, the losing, the blown top 3 picks, fucking Simmons, fucking Colangelos… The fact that he’s stuck it out here and not diva’d his way out is pretty remarkable.
We’re so lucky to have him.
I don’t like Embiid talking about this the last thing the league wants is this getting attention if we win or make the finals.
