Curry scores 50 while our best on-ball defender plays 8 minutes in a game 7. I heard Mike Brown’s response. I refuse to believe it.
Biggest issue is Sabonis? Sabonis showed us all he cant rebound or shoot againist playoff competition. the Kings will have to bring in PF like Bobby Portis, Kevin Love, Brook Lopez to help control the boards. the shortest team in the West was the Warriors all the other contending teams in the West are big! Kings top two players? D Fox and Malik Monk, this came thru loud and clear in the playoffs. Kings will need to add a rotation center next year like Al Horford, Sabonis at center not going to work. With D Fox and Malik Monk being the best two players on the team, the KING GM needs to put players around them, that can help them excel! Yes we know Keegan Murray gives D Fox and Malik Monk space to operate. A Kings back court with D Fox and Malik Monk may be one of top 5 back courts in the NBA next year. Steph hurt the Kings, Kevon Looney BEAT US!!! Keep in mind, imagine what AD would have done to us on the boards! then we would have to play the Nuggets who have Joker, Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter across the front! WOW! The good news is we all know that D Fox and Malik Monk are the best two players on this team! The Kings got little to nothing from Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter, and Sabonis over 7 games. This is not good! the Kings GM cant be happy with that! I cant wait to see the D Fox and Malik Monk back court grow and excel! We all need to thank D Fox for getting his buddy to join the Kings! WOW!!! Malik Monk was the biggest pick up for the Kings in Years!!!
Thanks for the coverage, and also, the timestamps, to true Deuce and Mo style.
Why didn’t he put Davion on Steph in the 3 rd quarter to tire him out and steal the ball for fast breaks. Brown made no adjustments in the 3 rd or 4th quarter. Plus Lyles can get rebounds with Looney guarding him.
Very frustrated with the coaching staff in the 2nd half.
Sabonis should play the 4.
We need a big man to play the 5.
Steve Kerr begged Mike Brown to let him win after SAC went up 2-0….😂😂jk…I hope…lol
TD did Not slow down Steph at all 2 nd half. Why didn’t you make Adjustments and try Davion on Steph to slow him down and tire him out. It Worked in Game 1-5.
What Mike Brown didn't do to win the game:
1) Lyles – small ball; open up the paint; bring out Looney/Draymond and make them switch to Fox/Monk/Davis
2) Davion – switch duties with Davis(guard Klay as well)
3) banked on Heurter to hit a 3 – he shouldn't be the main offensive threat. More like a 3rd/4th option with Murray
4) let Monk and Fox operate; run and gun & attack the paint, get pressure off Murray/Heurter
As a warriors fan it hurts to say this but I’m a fan of this podcast and the kings are looking like the young warriors I just hope the organization recognizes that they have something special and to win they have to spend money and cut no corners cause the kings are only a player or two from being real finals contenders for years to come
To all the "experts" down below that think they know better than Mike Brown and the Kings great coaching staff lol🤣: 1) Davion is the worst rebounder on the court most games. 2) "Off Night" or any other NBA player can't slow Steph down enough to change the outcome when GSW won by 20pts. 3) Warriors essentially played 5 on 4 defense by not guarding Davion or Sabonis closely, which killed Kings offensive spacing. 4) Kings OFFENSE was the bigger problem in the playoffs, not the defense, and Davion isn't a potential microwave shooter like TD. 5) Game 6 was the best the Kings played because TD and Trey stretched the Warriors defense with their shots and threat of shots, and forced Warriors to play 5 on 5 so I do agree with you folks that Trey should've played more in game 7.😉
Man I love this guy
😎Kings get sub centers like either Derrick Favors, Tyson Chandler, or bring back DeMarcus Cousins or Zach Randolph 🙃
