Honestly Embiid’d story is unparalleled. Look at how much shit the guy has gone through. 2 years injured at the start of his career. Loses his brother. Gets Fultz and Simmons who are completely broken. His GM is caught talking shit about him and being an absolute weirdo. Butler, his best buddy, leaves cause the Sixers decide Tobias Harris is worth more. Has to deal with the absolute shit that was Brett Brown and Elton Brand. They put fucking Al Horford next to him. Simmons decides to sit and completely fucks the team. Even his poor adorable puppy died in a freak accident
If the Sixers win the chip I really hope Embiid gives Hinkie a shoutout. It would be the ultimate closure to the process for its exiled architect to be remembered while the one who exiled him hands over the trophy to the Sixers org as the Philly crowd shouts trust the process.
