  1. A battle of bad defenses. Turner was good, Nesmith/Neimbhart were ok. Buddy is useless. Tyrese is ok at reading and stealing but is worse than useless on short range defense. He's a bowling pin if an attacker gets face to face with him.
Thankfully for the Pacers, Mavericks only has Maxi playing defense.

  2. The streak is alive!! Wasn't riding high off of Orlando, seemed like fool's gold, but beating Mav's yes sir that's a nice indicator! Could b the addition of Kyrie despite playing well could have disrupted their chemistry slightly while they r adjusting. Great win! Conflicting bc strategy wise we should b tanking like crazy but these guys r pros they are going to play to win. Amazing what Hali brings and N'wara looking like a nice addition. Surprised w how well he's played so soon. Seems a great fit. Jalen showing signs of life!

  3. Tyrese's birthday was on the 29th of February?? What calendar are you looking at? Lol

  4. If you all want the complete breakdown here it goes

Turner played well but was A Team worst -8 for the game.

Tyrese bricked a layup and bricked another fade away step back 3 before he missed the free throw in crunch time while Doncic scored and assisted on almost all of his and cut the lead to one point. Haliburton played great but he wasn't perfect and almost choked again.

Nembhardt once again shot 1/6 and 1/5 from 3. Not once has our locked on host ever brought up the fact he wax shooting18 percent from 3 over a 12 game stretch but if Mathurin has a bad game he'll definitely highlight that. And He did have a off game.

Jordan Nwora once again shows how inept Brisset and Duarte have been all season. Not a coincidence that he's had 18 points and 16 points respectively and Pacers won both games after almost losing 18 in a row prior. bur instead of that being highlighted hell talk about his analytics with Milwaukee or his first two games. If you watch the games you KNOW he can ball. I don't care what his analytics were in garbage time in the 4th quarter when Milwaukee was up by 20 points. You can't truly evaluate a player when those are the minutes he gets.

Jordan Nwora has been a HUGE reason Pacers are 2-0 the past two games. Not sure you'd know that If you listened to these podcasts

Jalen Smith was a Team high +10 and had 9 rebounds in 16 minutes and scored 11 points.

All the bench were in the plus. All the starters were in the negative. You'd never know that from listening to this podcast though.

  5. They got smoked by Phoenix after Myles went 2/9 from the field and had 3 rebounds and was completely outplayed by Ayton. You got to call the good with the bad. Myles has had A great year and 90 percent of his games he's played great. You got to call the good with the bad not highlight only the games he's done well.

Pacers almost lost 18 straight games and won only 2/16 so Myles success didn't necessarily co relate with wins. Just keeping it real. Myles has had A great season and has played great but the team almost lost 18 straight games so there is and was room for improvement. Again I'm onboard with Myles and think he's had a great season. Got to call the good with the bad.

Bulls and Orlando have both beat Dallas this year so they aren't as bad as your alluding to. Orlando beat New Orleans on the road the other night. The same team that beat Pacers by 30 in New Orleans..

  6. I was so confused when people were acting like picking up Nwora wasn’t a fantastic and creative move for us. Every time the pacers have played against him he’s played well on both sides of the floor and I remember taking note of that at the time of watching it. Glad to see him doing well.

I’d like to see Mathurin out there with Halliburton more often. It seems like Mathurin has to work so hard to get his points in comparison to the others. Buddy could have 8 3’s and you can bet they were probably all wide open from a Halliburton dime, and in the same game Mathurin will have 17 points but he had to go to war in the paint to get them. Next time Mathurin gets off to a slow start, they should get him out there with Tyrese to get him a few easy buckets and some confidence/rhythm.

  7. Myles’ interior offensive game was so impressive last night. If he can tap into that more often he may have another level he can get to. He looked so good.
