Embiid’s stats this postseason so far: 18.8/9.3/3.0 on 45 FG% and 10 3P%. This points per game drop off from the regular season (-14.3) is currently the largest of any player in the playoffs.

  1. He gets injured pretty much every playoffs, but he’s not a good playoff performer. His numbers consistently fall off every year and he plays way better in the regular season.

One dude really wants to win an MVP, the other wants to win something that matters.

  3. The worst part of his injury is that he will be hobbled like this every game in this series

  4. Alloverunder

Wonder how long until this comes down too

  5. Adam_brownies

Sixers fans are quiet about the mods tonight lol

  6. Ya’ll need to chill lol. Then again, Philly fans wouldn’t be chilling if it was the other way around, so idk. Either way, fuck you Doc

  7. Dude shouldn’t have won mvp. Cried his way to an award.

    Flopiid is a scam artist.

  8. schoolhater12

He is clearly injured so he deserves a pass. But overall, his scoring gets worse in the post season

Jokic with the 28/14/8 on 49/48/75 splits

  10. Embiid and lebron having a contest of who can shoot worse from 3

  11. throwawayking54321

    Such a terrible playoff performer.

  12. TreeBearOne

..he’s already won his prize, not sure he gives a shit now

This is so petty but to be fair 76ers fans called Jokic out for getting swept by the Suns two years ago with literally a G League squad while averaging 25/13.8/5.8 against them so even though I’m not a fan of the pettiness between Jokic and Embiid Stans/haters, both sides do it so fair is fair I guess.

Once again, it’s Jokic to win for the three peat but everyone felt bad ig. If the Celtics win this series, Embiid will not make the conference finals again. At least Joker made it and will likely make it again. Pity MVP.

All time jerking in this thread congrats

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the Embiid hate, but his team hadn’t lost a playoff game until tonight. Just throwing his stats out there doesn’t do his impact justice, especially for that first round series.

Not sure how people are just noticing how underwhelming he’s been since the playoffs started. He’s not even the third-best player in the post-season right now.

  18. dragonwhale

While Jokic is the only remaining player in these playoffs in top 5 in all the major statistical categories

  19. Unciano404

Perk sipping daquiris or some shit chillin’ with two feet up on a yacht somewhere in the Caribbean: “My job here is done. Carry the hell on…”

  20. He demanded more double teams than any other player in the playoffs sweeping Brooklyn and then played 25 minutes on a sprained LCL lol

  21. Only two instances in the last 30 years of a scoring leader making the playoffs but not being in the top10 in PPG in the playoffs :

    Embiid 2023

    Embiid 2022

Genuine question – does anyone in here watch basketball or is it all stat watching? He was getting doubled and tripled literally the entire 1st round, got so hockey assists (which I guess doesn’t count as an assist but it’s winning basketball) and swept his first round opponent. He’s playing on a grade 2 LCL sprain, first game back, we have reports of him playing with pain in his knee at times when he shoots, this is his 4th game of the playoffs. Misconstruing stats to this level is insane, and it’s just embarrassing.

  23. To be honest to Embiid he had the Nets game playing against him, and Celtics tonight did something similar too.

But that’s why I think Jokic is far better and nephew/blind 76ers fans don’t understand that if you put Joker in place of Embiid in those situations he would keep finding shooters and open players around him… the difference in passing ability is so big that Jokic overcome some of the lack of aggressiveness like Embiid has! Moreover, comes playoffs time the liability Embiid has on defense are literally the same of Jokic so there is no much difference on defense too!

  24. Absolutely criminal Jokic got robbed of MVP because of spite and pity. Every season should be judged in a vacuum, but the entire talk this year has been about the previous year’s winner — that’s bullshit.
