James Harden postgame: “As much as we wanted to win two games here, we won a game. Like I said a couple days ago, even keeled, you never want to get too high and you never want to get too low. Win a game, lose by 30 tonight, it all counts as one win, one loss.”

  1. This sub has gone from sweep/Celts in 5, to Harden resurgence, to Embiid trash and Sixers cooked in less than 54 hours

*That’s just how it is. Sometimes you eat the apetizers, and sometimes the apetizers eat you*

Harden got way too much unwarranted hate. Dude is a baller. Great mindset. Sucks that I can’t stand embiid.

  4. I want Harden to go clean shaven at least once before he retires.

  5. TruggWalg69

It’s 1-1. Philly did what they had to do

  6. Not quite, we won by 30 so that means we win the last game too on aggregate. This was announced in the new CBA which Harden clearly didn’t read

Not too high, not too low? I believe that was a quote from Giannis

Lose three straight games by 40+, it all counts as one loss three times.

Yall remember the first time you learned that some octupi have that beak/mouth, in the middle of all them tentacles…?

I don’t know why I bring that up.

He can’t say it but I’ll say it for him. Embiid shouldn’t have played tonight. About the only interesting thing he did tonight was bottom for Grant Williams (power in those hips)

Harden always been an underrated leader. I’m not counting them out yet, I’d love to see Philly beat Boston

Well said. They stole home court. A blowout is nice, but the series doesn’t give a shit about how many points you won by.

  13. I think losing by a wide margin is a benefit, you get more rest and it’s not as mentally breaking as losing a game you had a chance to win, obviously a loss is a loss but if you have to choose

The team was better with Embiid on the bench

  15. sgandylau

they literally came and snatched home come advantage way from the celtics, job done.

Harden beard is really really thick from this angle. Honestly does anyone think he will ever shave it? Or is this him till the end

  17. ladupes

    Damn right.

Still remember those heat spurs series lol.
    Just trading blowouts everygame.

At the end only win and lose counts

It’s hilarious because soon as we took game 1 we were playing with house money for the next game.

It’s a 1-1 series with the next 2 at home and the wisest of Redditors came out to give their expert opinions.

My boy Magic said the same thing after game 2 in the 91 finals after a blowout loss (and a close win in game 1). Then loss the next three (at home).

  20. PJJefferson

It all counts as stealing home court advantage, too.

  21. Philly139

Sixers couldn’t get anything to drop last night. They are not going to shoot that poorly in game 3. I’m happy being 1-1 headed back to Philly.

Whoa whoa whoa, level-headed answers are not allowed. I require a reactionary screech only

  23. chowdercup

He had a couple threes that were almost all the way down, others had close misses and that 12 or 15 points is huge. Particulary when Boston were scorching. It really was make or miss

  24. choochmaster561

he’s matured so much over the last however many years. not even just his demeanor, but he actions as well. i also thought that him getting joel a custom MVP rolex was super classy and an awesome gesture. harden has come a long way, i’m pulling for him these days for sure.
