The Mavs don’t have enough capspace to sign him. And if their relationship has turned bad enough that they don’t care about losing him for nothing, the Grizzlies likely won’t do him any favors by signing and trading him. He’s likely going to have to take a steep paycut in the open market, but it’d be hard to believe he’s become an MLE type guy, even after all his shenanigans.
I’ll literally take a six pack of beer and a pack of smokes over Dillon.
