“the most athletic player on this roster”

I think this guy thought he was tweeting in NBA Circlejerk.

  2. HDTempo

He is a good defender but he’s horrible on offense and nothing what we thought he would be. That being said, with the Suns’ injuries problem, he could probably be helpful off the bench as a defensive helper. Fuck the Suns though. Hope they get swept.

Honestly with how much offense the suns do have I don’t think it’s that unfair

Its worth a try, hes athletic and rangy. Maybe he gets hot shooting

This subreddit’s obsession with hating on Bazley is so weird.

This says more about the state of the Suns roster than anything lmao.

I know reddit hates him for offcourt stuff, but for people who actually care about basketball on the court, this take is 100% correct.

OKC never had near the offensive firepower the Suns have.
Remember how terrible Roberson was on offense? But he was invaluable because we had Russ and KD or Russ and PG.
Bazely should absolutely be getting minutes in this series.
    He’s an elite defender.

The Suns have zero bench depth. Monty is having KD & Book play 40+ mpg. CP3 over 35 and Ayton 33. That’s about 3 minutes per game more than all of their reg season averages.

The few minutes that are left are not going anywhere near Baze. That should tell everybody something about him. He is just not that good. If he was, don’t you think Money Williams would play him to give his stars a breather instead of keeping two essential yet injury-prone players (CP & KD) out there longer than he has to?

I think Monty Williams is a really great coach and if he’s not playing him, there’s probably a good reason. (Or several, as we all know.)
