As a Utah Jazz fan, it’s no surprise that we’re keeping a close eye on Dončić’s situation. He’s an incredible player with a bright future ahead of him. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out and if there’s any chance he ends up in Utah. Let’s hope our spies have some insider information that others don’t!

Lauri, Luka and Walker would be unstoppable team. 12 peat championship run.

Him or brown are the two players that would elevate this team the most between fit and skill. And has a combo jazz celtics fan I don’t think Brown is going anywhere. Also it’d be so ironic for Utah to have basically an all white starting lineup lol

I said it in that thread, but Collin, Olynyk, Agbaji (unfortunately), pick 9, 16, the 27 Lakers first, and the 25, 27, 29 Cavs and Wolves firsts, so 9 firsts could be a very competitive offer.
OKC, New Orleans, and Houston have a lot of picks too, I feel like if Luka asks for a trade OKC might offer Josh, or Jalen, or the Pelicans might offer Trey Murphy, or the Rockets might offer Jalen Green, so every team might give their best offer possible. That trade offer I mentioned doesn’t have Lauri, or Walker.
If we do that trade we’d have salary to sign Grant, or Barnes, and enough to keep Clarkson, and enough to sign a back up center
A Luka, Clarkson, Grant or Barnes, Lauri, Walker starting 5 with Dunn, hopefully a forward who wants to be on a contender sign for cheap, and the back up center is a championship team. 4 starters that can average 20 points, a double double with 2 blocks player with Walker is a top 3 starting 5 next season imo. Plus Dunn is a great defender, and if we get a good forward for cheap, and a back up center, that team is a contender imo

Ainge certainly has the assets and trading skills to pull this off if Luka says the word

Every time I see an article reporting that the jazz are interested in trading for a star player, I like to point out that our roster isn’t a superstar away from contending. We are a superstar plus like 2 3 and D wings away from contending. Luka doesn’t play any defense himself and we would have to give up basically all of our tradeable assets to get him. That would leave us with no other way to improve the team besides free agency (which is a non-strategy seeing as star free agents will never want to sign in Utah). We have to see how good this year’s draft class ends up being for us before we can decide if going all in for a superstar with our remaining assets would be a good course of action.

Please Luka. Request the trade.
Made the deal [https://fanspo.com/nba/s/jazz/trades/31IczQIghWMx9Z/this-should-get-the-deal-done-jazz-offer-every-future-pick-they-have](https://fanspo.com/nba/s/jazz/trades/31IczQIghWMx9Z/this-should-get-the-deal-done-jazz-offer-every-future-pick-they-have) , but still doubt very much it actually happens. This whole rumor was probably just Ainge saying damn it would be nice to have Luka in Utah in a meeting once
