  1. Talk about the Hornets potentially resigning miles bridges and his suspicious suspension

  2. They need a new coach. The current guy is like a substitute teacher in a classroom full of kids running around acting a fool.

  3. Honestly, without Steven Adams, this team has no real grit. I would have loooooved to see how AD would have felt after 3 or 4 games of knock-around with SA.

I actually think Memphis is one subtraction (DB) and an attitude adjustment away from their best self. You don't even need to make any roster moves. Just redistribute Brooks' minutes to the existing rotation.

  4. Brooks can be valuable on any team if he were able to remember his role. Shit talking like that is cool but it's kinda reserved for the guys that can really back it up, especially when going at someone like LeBron. If you can't back it up all you do is create angry superstars your whole team has to deal with lol.

I think that if he is signed by someone it'll come with a "you keep yo mouf shut" clause that he'll more than happily understand and abide by.

  5. They played better with Zhaire in the starting lineup, but they should definitely go for Grant— and, depending on Phoenix’s situation, maybe even make a move for Ayton.

  6. This Memphis team is pieces away from being a contender and they also need to find a backup center. They were playing Xavier Tillman in those playoffs and a wing who can be a threat offensively and can defend like OG also they have the assets to make that big trade. Spacing is definitely their issue and another reason why they lost. Brooks needs to go

  7. They had both their centers out and Ja was being a punk for part of the season. This team has more problems, but they wanna pretend it was all on Dillon Brooks. Just like Gobert, like Westbrook on the Lakers, teams want a scapegoat they can offload the blame onto.

  8. You are the lowest on the totem pole here Alva, … The lowest 🌝

  9. When was this video made? Shams literally came out and said The Grizzlies informed Brooks he's not coming back "under any circumstances".

  10. Brooks is gone and probably on his way to China. As for rest of the roster, their core is young and talented and actually has great on-court synergy. There are off-court issues for one player and injury concerns for another but they can be serious title contenders if they fill out rest of the roster at the level of Nuggets or Clippers. Now, Bane has to make improvements and solidify himself as a true star player mostly because Ja is going to play over the top and that simply will result into unnecessary injuries and having a reliable star player who's going to give you 25 every night is crucial for a contender(I'm also making an assumption that Ja has learned his lessons and stops putting himself into stupid, highly distracting situations).

Main reason why I'd recommend caution before going all-in like OP suggests is because this roster has done absolutely nothing in playoffs. They don't have a guy who knows what it takes to win a championship and trading for one would cost a lot. You have a young, immature core that creates distractions on it's own. IF you can address that first and have a deep(-er) run next year then I'd start exploring options to become a real title contender. Yes, it's essentially a year wasted but you'd have to fully buy into whatever Ja is selling you do to that and he has shown on multiple occasions this year alone that he is not that guy just yet. And if you're trying to sell me injury prone Middleton(whom Bucks will make VERY expensive to get) as your best potential addition I'll pass. Remove Brooks, use him as a scapegoat if you're at that level, and run it back. There are young players who are intriguing who could use those minutes and maybe you don't have to trade away your future for a #3 option on a max deal.

  11. The problem with memphis is they need bigger, better defensive minded wings cuz none of their wings are physically capable of dealing with lebron, kawhi, tatum, butler types plus they are inconsistent shooters so they aren't reliable to at least hit open shots when needed.Besides that they just need their big 3 to get better in their overall games especially in the halfcourt

  12. I don't understand this take on Dillon Brooks. "Under no circumstances!"not a lot to talk about concerning his future with that team. I'm guessing Charlotte or China. Kind of the same thing.😊

  13. "Aint no fun when the rabbit got the gun" going to haunt this team for the next years if they don't get mature

  14. A lot of what is never considered by basketball statistics is the true cohesion and stability of a team as a unit. The intangibles are truly tested in the playoffs. For the grizzlies there is no issue with athleticism, talent, ot skill, it really came down to mental mistakes and their standards for behavior.

  15. Per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Grizzlies told Brooks he "will not be brought back under any circumstances" during exit meetings with team officials in recent days. So yeah, I'd say he's Dillon Brooks won't be back on the Grizzlies.

  16. I think Dillon Brooks his antics are a bigger problem then lots of us, the fans, realise. He activly makes this squad hated, not only by most fans, but also in the rest of the league. So were the difference between the best team and the worst team is like 3% (estimate) and everyone can win of everyone. I think thats the X-Factor in a very negative way. But yea…this is from Europe so maybe I'm fully in the wrong here. But i can imagine, noone wants to lose against that trashtalking dude.
I think, without mister Brooks, the Grizzlies are alot better, not only from a roster standpoint, but also from a fan standpoint and a opposing team standpoint.

  17. yo im 1 yuear older than DB lol hahaha i tought that guy was a freshman trying to grind a name going against the biggest cheese in the field butt wtf… how many years in the NBA and many of us just payed attention because of playoofs against lebron

  18. Can Gordon Hayward help them? What would it take to pry Jaden McDaniels from Minnesota? How about Kyle Kuzma? I would also offer the Pelicans a 1st for Herb Jones although if I were the Pelicans I wouldn't bite.

  19. They need more firepower from range. So if Ja starts using assault rifles instead of handguns that would upgrade their perimeter threat.

  20. too many turnovers. and ja and bane choked in the postseason and also dont play d. good luck fixing that lol

  21. This team is gonna be a top 3 seed again next year. Adams is a key piece. They need to find a better SF but internal improvement will help them a lot. JJJ has already grown a lot on the offensive end. Bane is a good #2. They need moves around the edges more than a big overhaul

  22. Kinda crazy how the media AND the grizzlies are making Dillon out to be some martyr. Dudes career low key getting sabotaged all because he talked some trash. Soft ahh league

  23. Maybe they would benefit from Kyrie. They would get more shooting, passing and a little iso play with him.

  24. Clarke and Adams not being there hurt. Although, Adams cant play much when the Grizzlies need buckets because he can't shoot. But still rebounding and toughness was not there, outside of JJJ…

  25. Can not disagree with your take on the grizzlies culture more. Great roaster, bad culture, the wheels will come off unless some vet leadership comes in, but even then.

  26. The Grizzlies losing in the first round was the best thing I think that could happen to them. It is a good wake up call for the team that you have to savor the moment and be mature to succeed. It also let the front office know they need to get serious about fixing on and off the court issues. I do think that this will be a great thing that happened for them. Sometimes you need to get brought back down to earth in order to succeed in the future
