That’s why Draymond is who Draymond is.
He talks big but backs it tf up too. He put AD on lockdown today, it was incredible to watch.
And you see what happens when you run everything through Steph?
And big shoutout to JaMychal Green, those were huge minutes he gave us and Loon was able to rest up too.
Statement fuckin win, good job boys. Looks like loone being sick is the dray ejection of last series, forced Kerr to unlock a new line up that works amazing. Let’s steal a game and make this interesting! Side note: This off-season klay needs to mentor moody, looks like he can become the future klay. Man’s playing solid d and hitting the 3. Poole needs to work out with steph get bigger and improve handles. And kuminga needs to spend time with dray and iggy. These kids could be the key to the future if they can grow into those roles.
Also side side note: THANK YOU FOR A DECISIVE WIN MY HEART AND CARDIOLOGIST APPRECIATE IT.
Unlike what r/warriors twelve-year-old redditors think, Steve Kerr is a fantastic coach.
AINT NO FUN WHEN THE RABBIT’S GOT THE GUN
**JaMychal Green!**
– Huge game by Klay!
– Great adjustments by Kerr
– Moody was fantastic
– Draymond brought it
No JP slander tonight! Go get game 3!
Moses Moody is the kind of player tou want on your team honestly. The guy lets everything on the court no matter his role or situation (Kuminga should learn that from him).
He gets a ton of rebounds in traffic and is the first getting his hands dirty to get a loose ball. He has gotten much better defensively too, both on ball and off ball. We tried to make him a POA defender and that’s just not his strength. He’s good on wings.
It feels like we could be up 2-0 if Steve puts the ball in Steph hands earlier in game 1. They really have no answer for it other than throw everything at him and let us play 4v3. That way it’s also easier to get to the rim since we already have the screener going downhill and it triggers easy cuts to the basket.
I’m also not sure this way is that much taxing on Steph. When he’s off ball he’s still moving non stop, setting screens, getting bumped…
Having Steph screen the guy with the ball(especially Wiggs or Dray) is very interesting aswell. You’d think they’d switch but Steph creates all sorts of miss communications because the defense is panicking(another thing Steph brings to the table and isn’t reflected on the boxscore)
Best of 7, let’s go
JMG legacy game
-JMG in the starting lineup is probably here to stay for GSW until the Lakers prove they can beat it, the extra spacing on offense is invaluable in pulling AD out of the paint and putting him in difficult positions guarding the Steph-Dray PnR. On defense it allows them to switch between Dray-JMG-Wiggins on AD and neutralize his screening advantage.
-Warriors executed at an extremely high level today, this was their A game, not a ton you can read going forward when everything was firing on all cylinders
-IDK where the narrative that the Warriors have no one who can guard AD came from but dumbass shit needs to die fast, Dray has consistently been one of the best AD defenders in the NBA, and he proved it once again tonight, that doesnt mean that AD will always have as bad a game as he did today but Dray will make him work for it
-Lakers took way too many jumpers this game, looked either tired or content with winning 1
-AD looked tired AF today, which is no surprise considering he has played 77 of 84 possible minutes over 2 games, thats just unsustainable, for any player, especially in a series with no 3 days rest, Lakers have got to fin d a way to get him some rest in game or hes gonna be run into the ground
-Darvin Ham broke out the 2015 game plan of double Steph on the PnR and let Dray play 4v3, with predictable results, just bizarre coaching choice to go to something you know doesnt work and then stick with it all game as you get carved up
-Adding onto that the Lakers gameplan “of leave GSW shooters open and pray they miss” has not been working, you gotta contest the the 3 point line at this point cuz they aint missing rn
-One of the best reffed games of the playoffs, calls were consistent and fairly evenly applied, a shocker considering it was a Brothers led crew
-Give Moody all of Pooles minutes, he’s just too much of a liability on both ends if he isnt scoring at a high rate,
-Austin Reaves looked completely lost all game, idk if hes just tired or what but he was a massive sieve on both ends
-Bron tried really hard to ragequit at the end of 3rd, shit was funny
Playing Steph on ball and spamming pick and roll = open looks on every possession. It is the most unstoppable play in basketball. Let’s keep doing that please.
Also, special shoutout to Moody. He is so good. Makes the right play almost everytime. Should be getting more mins over Poole.
I want a hot dog
Gotta give it up to moody, his hustle is something else man
Moses Moody has more points than LeBron James in the second half
Klay
JMG as a starter >>>>
Talk about an adjustment
# LFG BOYS. NOW LETS MAKE IT SPLASH ENOUGH TO MAKE AN ACTUAL LAKE IN LA
![gif](giphy|3o72Ff1BaszZvXc5vW|downsized)
Kerr made adjustments and you have to give him credit.
Shoutout to JMG for his best performance as a Warrior.
Felt like a KD era win and I frankly wasn’t expecting a garbage time 4th quarter.
It wouldn’t be a Warriors playoff run without LBJ flops
r/nba 9/11
Did AD even play this game?
Steph needs to initiate the offence going forward forever
Y’all may thank Klay for the good game but say thanks to JMG for stepping it up today
This game encapsulated exactly why Kuminga ain’t playing. Moody been staying ready all season and playing the right way, unselfishly, making the right plays, within the offense, regardless whether it’s garbage time or not.
Kuminga on the other hand is forcing his own shot, not playing within the flow of the offense and his body language is poor when it’s not going his way. He can learn a thing or 100 from Moses.
Lakers are HOT garbage without those 25 free throws
“This ain’t Sabonis”
-Lakers fans after game 1 💀
I apologize, JaMychal – I will never doubt Steve Kerr again
That performance was for the “ThE LaKErS arE jUsT bEttEr, WaRriORs aRe gETtinG sWepT” crowd.
That Klay performance was for the “KLay iS wAsHeD” crowd.
That Steph performance was for the “He’s JuSt A sHoOtiNG guARd” crowd.
Sorry, not today r/nba! *We are so back* 😂
We blew the Lakers out and we discovered Moody and J. Green can hold it down in the playoffs. Overall great game 😎
Kerr really cut up the Ham
Laker fans and Warrior haters bringing up the refs after the Lakers shot more free throws AGAIN and still got clapped by 27.
Pathetic.
Great W
A full quarter of garbage time is crazy lmao
I fucking love Moody. His hustle and big shots are gonna be huge down the stretch this postseason. I’m so happy he has turned it around.
That fading three over Lebron was epic
That was a wild statement win — steph had “only” 20 points but drew doubles all night and assists out the ass made it all possible
**klay** redemption arc continues
**moody** steady and always there
**jmg** legacy game
beautiful basketball what a fun game to watch
hope we can keep it up for g3 and steal one in LA to bring it back
Warriors in 6
Curry gravity masterpiece. This is why Celtics played drop coverage on him. Greatest offensive weapon of all time.
We can’t let our guard down. The refs are gonna play better next match.
Anyone know if we can get Zendaya to sit in the remaining games this post season? lol
1-0 in the Zendaya, Danny Devito Era
Klay leads the game in scoring and he talked about everyone BUT himself in the postgame interview. Respect ✊
