  1. Bud has gotten out coached time and time again. The only time he didn’t get out coached was against Steve Nash. The reason he wasn’t fired in 2021 is bc Giannis saved him.
Bucks need to get Nick Nurse.

  2. This isn't something out of the blue. The broadcasters were talking about this during their finals games when they won the chip. They mentioned repeatedly that Bud was coaching for his job. They're looking at it like, we had one good run and then fall back to the same garbage we suffered from before, so he's gotta go. Can't blame them really 🤷‍♂️

  3. I’m sorry Mike Budenholzer needed to go. He just isn’t great in the playoffs (despite the 1 magical run). He gets out coached too much. Erik Spoelstra once again showed how mediocre he is as a coach.

  4. All of this also makes you wonder if giannis will stay in the land of great cheese, good brats, good beer, kwik trip, butter burgers & plenty of vehicle denting/wrecking deers whenever his contract runs out as well 🤔🤔🤔?!?!

  5. I didn't think this was very controversial. Folks like Damian Lillard (and Rob) think that winning the title should make you bulletproof. His coaching has come under scrutiny for years for being unimaginative and also for lack of in game adjustments. Maybe the Bucks won that title despite the coaching. I just don't think winning a chip should give you job security for very long if you're not actually doing a great job individually. This loss to the Heat is just the straw that broke the camel's back.

  6. I'm not surprised he up outta there. Lack of adjustments in the post-season didn't do him any favors. They won the championship in 2019 due to Giannis all time great performance on one leg. He wasn't a good coach in the playoffs.

  7. Well the biggest issue is still giannis can't score against against half court playoff defense outside of 5 feet because he doesn't have a consistent hook to go to or a consistent middy pull up he can use. Yes, did Budenholzer make some not good decision strategy wise sometimes yes but no coach is perfect but I'm giannis hasn't gotten better since the bubble loss to miami. He's the same player and the last 2 playoffs prove that against playoff defense he can't score in the half court which is why they go to middleton but he be hurt often. You people just watch highlights and don't actually watch most of these games against playoff level defense and will ignore his negatives. Also still he's a glorified help defender too he's never guarded the best teams opposing best scorer and lowered his percentages for a half.. The facts show he can't score against playoff set defense out of 5 feet it's an opinion…

  8. They did that to Jason Kidd. Kidd got them the next level then he max out. Mike did the same thing. The new owners are different from herb kohl’s. They not stick it out once they see it’s not working you out. The player’s request him out because he wasn’t putting the right players

  9. I’m so happy Chris is on First things first, so I can listen to him without having to hear Rob’s foolishness

  10. In the last 8 years, every NBA champion coach, not named Steve Kerr, has been fired. Crazy.

  11. They blew two leads in the 4 quarter game 4 and 5 no excuses. Even though Giannis wasn’t healthy, Miami still was missing Herro and Oladipo.

  12. When he first got hired with Hawks he got a DUI charge the first week🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

  13. If Broussard wants to be technical Miami is a 8 or 7 seed without the play in and Atlanta wouldn’t have an appearance in the playoffs if not for that play in game because Miami would definitely wipe atlantas ass in a series

  14. Bud deserved to get fired he stuck in his old ways he refuses to make adjustments when needed. 😊

  15. If the Heat make the finals or win the finals, Milwaukee is going to have egg on their face. No shame in losing to the eventual champion even if it's in the first round.

  16. It’s well documented that coach bud makes little to no adjustment in game. His firing isn’t a surprise. So by robs logic Coach Bud should stay for another 5 year because he won a title? Ok after that five years Giannis will be 33/34 and Rob will be here criticizing Giannis saying he’s only won one title. This was long over due.

  17. I don't think he should have been fired for the simple fact Chris Middleton was hurt the year before in the first round of playoffs and this year Giannis was hurt in the first round of the playoffs so it's hard to really judge a coach when that happens

  18. that bucks team needs wing defenders you cant play jrue holiday for 40 plus minutes guarding someone like jimmy butler or anybody 6'7 or 6'8 and taller giannis cant keep up with the small forwards only the power forwards and centers

  19. Bucs problem is that they dare other teams to shoot the three, don't make adjustments and don't double team. Sorry about his passing of his brother but …I'm glad the coach was fired.

  20. Absolutely false. Bud has been questionable all throughout his tenure in Milwaukee. As someone who watches the games and is a fan of the team I can say that this is a great move for the Bucks. Lack of playoff adjustments snd poor late game clock management all were problems with Bud. The firing was warranted
