Sixers sub isn’t happy about it so that means I’m happy about it
Scott “The Extender” Foster to call a Game 3 is beyond my expectation.
Celtics are 18-20 all-time in the playoffs with Scott Foster refereeing. Only game he’s done this postseason was Game 3 in Atlanta and I don’t think you could say fouls were a factor that night.
Last postseason, he did Game 3 of the finals (W), Games 4 and 7 of the ECF (both Ws), Game 1 of the Bucks series (L) and Game 4 of the Nets series (W).
He’s generally pretty favorable to road teams and the Celtics haven’t gotten it too bad from him in recent times.
I have made a personal rule to never be happy if Foster is reffing an important game. The NBA should be embarrassed with the product they’re trying to sell that we even have to worry about ref assignments like this.

Its really a shame that for every playoff game there has to be a full discussion about what the team of refs is going to do
Chris Paul lifted the Scott Foster curse this year. I believe we can achieve.
