Hammon and Atkinson would be my two preferred candidates.

Im a big fan of AG, have had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times. A top top guy. But if we are doing a hard reset on the culture he cant be the next guy up IMO

If it is Becky Hammon, and we’re not a very good team, and/or she’s not a very good coach, lord help her with the sheer amount of misogyny that will get thrown her way.

I would put money on Lee, Fernandez or Atkinson (in that order).

Becky Mammon coach of the year incoming. Shock the world.

Wonder if Masai and Bobby will find someone literally not on the spectrum. Dark horse Phil Handy.

Bucks fired Budenholzer.. so time to update the odds again.

If not head coach then we should atleast offer Mike D’Antoni an assistant coach position. We need him to completely overhaul our offence because that shit is unwatchable

Looks like this needs to be updated now that Bud is fired lol.

I’m okay with any of the top 4

  12. I hope Becky gets signed based on her actual coaching ability and not just because she’s a woman. That would be disrespectful for her. I know she’s won recently with a WNBA team but not sure how well that’ll translate to the NBA. I worry about misogyny in the locker room with players and outside with media and fans. It’s promising that she’s worked under Coach Pops tutelage.

    Kenny Atkinson is intriguing,
Doesn’t have a great resume but he was part of the Warriors last title coaching staff and the Nets team that made the 7th seed (that funnily got swept by us in the first round).

Mike D’Antoni is also an interesting candidate.
He’s shown he can at least turn a team around in the regular season with multiple 60+ win teams. This team is very far away from competing for a title again. Would be good to at least be a good regular season team again to help rebuild the wining culture we had. He certainly coached some really fun teams to watch.
