Klay Thompson’s 30 points led to Warriors GM 2 victory, AD’s inconsistency hurt Lakers | THE HERD

The Golden State Warriors bounced back in a huge way, snatching a 127-100 Game 2 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Steph Curry finished with 20 points and 12 assists but Klay Thompson was the big story with his red hot, 30-point night. The Warriors notably ran more small ball to throw the Lakers off defensively. Colin Cowherd breaks down how Golden State tied up the series. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis had a monstrous 30-point, 28-rebound Game 1, but only scored 11 points (5-of-11) with seven rebounds in the team’s Game 2 loss. This raises questions about the star’s consistency. Colin reacts to AD’s abysmal performance, then explains what this says about the purple and gold big.

  1. You said the same exact thing…about 5 times in this one….wtf?…..

  2. “It’s AD’s team” Colin says, the man has been hurt/inconsistent the entire time he’s been in LA, yet somehow Westbrook was to blame for any and all mishaps

  3. Colin needs to get off his knees and wipe his mouth lmao. He has such a massive bias toward the warriors

  4. That game look so fake 😂😂 the Lakers were not even trying to defend. please stop your Lakers hate

  5. Wheres all the lakers fans from last video complaining about Colin only talking about why Golden State lost?

See? Now hes talking about why lakers lost. Its not some media conspiracy. Its what analysts DO. They talk about how the guys who lost can do better which gives more to talk about than what the guys who won can do to keep winning.

Lmao yall can stop crying now.

  6. This lakers team is so similar to 2020. After they lose they will play with way more urgency. Especially AD. But the same thing happened in the bubble they’d win, lose one game, and then look like a championship caliber team

  7. There is no way to believe that G.S. could slow down AD unless he is that soft.

  8. Most road teams fail to win both road games to start a series. They did what they needed to do and as long as they win at home they will be fine.

  9. It's not an overreaction when they lose. Home court advantage slips away in game one to a Lebron led team. The warriors have won 1 playoff road game thus far, lost all the others, and won 11 games on the road in the regular season. It's not an overreaction at all given that the team clearly struggles on the road.

  10. Klay literally shot the lights out… thats an adjustment? Or will he come back down to earth? Will curry come to earth when away?

  11. AD has been in the league for a hot minute. Like Colin said, 11th year. Why are people still trying to force this facade of him being a GOAT? He's good for sure but he's not flipping that switch now.

  12. How is this guy on TV? He says anything at any time with no validity. He’ll change his mind in 2 games and act like he didn’t say this nonsense.

  13. The warriors going small isn't them playing chess. That literally what they've been doing.

  14. The idea of Lebron not being as impactful is crazy. The only reason it even seems that way is because AD wasn’t doing anything. Man had 2 pts with 3 mins to go in the 2nd half. When AD balls out Lebron still gives you an okay game. When Lebron balls AD is the worst player on the court.

  15. if you didn't know the outcome of the game and just watched Kerr,s postgame presser based on his temperment you wouldn't know if they won or lost. A master at keeping things grounded in emotional situations. It's no wonder GS has so much poise under the pressure of must win situations.

  16. He makes a good point. Trade AD win or lose you could probably get a handful of stars more depth around lebron 🤔

  17. refs are biased and the commentators know it so thats why they are on lebrons coat tail something is going down with the refs they are gonna get lebron to the finals with the whistle for his legacy.

  18. Colin DID NOT watch this game. Looney was sick and that was the only reason he didn’t start. The Warriors did not play “faster” at all. He didn’t mention Steph’s foul trouble in the first half. He didn’t mention JaMychal Green’s name. This dude is a con artist. $6 million a year for this drivel??

  19. Kinda like YOU Colin overreacting to one Warriors win. Btw Looney was SICK which is why he came off the bench and played limited minutes. Pffffttt

  20. This is what David spolstra does?? Yea he’s a great coach but has he ever won a finals without Lebron dwade n Bosh?
