Idk when it became acceptable to disrespect Paul George like that. PG arguably the best built and most versatile superstar in the league. He has no weaknesses and can everything great and a few things like finishing and shooting at an elite level. Not to mention he one of a handful of true two way lock downs.

There is not a team that would benefit long term from starting Russ at PG – at least I can't think of one where he moves the needle at all. A great game from Russ is a normal night from real starters in the NBA at his position. He is not worth more than 3.5million
PG is one of the highest skill ceiling positions and its full of new wave players who can shoot from deep, distribute without turning it over, and who will take accountability in press conferences for not only themselves, but for entire teams. Considering that Russ can't shoot very well, turns the ball over at one of the highest % in the league, and takes almost no accountability after bad games – what are we talking about here?
It's true he adds more offensive boards and maybe has a defensive edge over some of the younger guys.. those aren't the qualities at the top of your priority list for point guard. He's the only player with such a high turnover % that still sees a high usage rate, all of the other players on that list with him are limited in their usage. Turnovers give your opponent easy looks, demoralizes players and stops runs, and adds extra pace to the game and therefore more fatigue on the team.
Any team that wants to win anything more than a regular season series with him will need to bring his usage rate down drastically, and historically that's when Russ starts complaining about "back tightness" or "I was a spoon being used as a fork". There has been nothing I've seen that translates to a Larry O'Brien from him
