i think the roster really isn’t that far away, despite how disappointing the end of the season was.
the Knicks imo were a horrible matchup, but i don’t think they need to overreact. it won’t be super easy, but there are definitely opportunities and resources to improve the roster, plus internal improvement almost feels certain given how young their best players are.
obviously they’re not gonna just rocket to a championship, but every young team with top-end talent gets their asses kicked at least 1-2 times before they really start to contend
Internal improvement.
Get a back up center
Get another wing.
Hit the weight room.
Make the bigs shoot threes.

the cavs players need to get stronger and improve their games. they should add kevin ollie or nate mcmillan to the coaching staff as an assistant head coach. they cant run it back with the same players they need to get a big center and some shooters … plus rebuild their bench!
cavs need rebounders just as much as they need some shooters. obviously a true 3&D wing would be great, but they got absolutely embarrassed and punked out by knicks. they really need a no nonsense, savvy vet, like when they had rajon rondo.
I still can't figure out why the Cavs released Kevin Love right before the playoffs?
My number 4 (sweet and delicious) will be awesome in September 😊
Nice report here but a lot of your suggestions don’t fill the need of a small forward. The Cavs do not need any more shooting guards they need to find a 6’7 or taller small forward who can play defense and shoot threes. In fact I would even consider Dillon Brooks from the Memphis Grizzlies or Kelly Oubre Jr or Rui Hachimura.
